When you said "astronomer", did you mean "spelunker"?

In chapter nine, Susan uses astronomy as a metaphor to explain to Holly that the universe does not revolve around her.  She uses the discovery of Galileo Galilei (that the earth rotates around the sun, not the other way around) as an example.

It was not meant to be taken beyond that chapter, sorry for the confusion.
