Author's Response: Lol! Those are simply the initials for the National Transportation Safety Board. They make like Sherlock Holmes for every plane crash that occurs on American soil. Thank God those aren't as plentiful in real-life as they are in spy thrillers!

Michael Crichton! I have read a few of his books. I beleive he had a novel called sphere.

I think that there used to be a 'Knights Inn' right at the I-77 OFF RAMP, much nicer then that cheesy 'Motel 6'....he should've snagged a room there, they got an indoor pool.
