and @ stubbornstain, having the power to end a life at a whim with no effort, seems like a "special power" to me even if it isn't supernatural.

It seems a bit unrealistic to have such intimacy so soon, especially given what Joy has been through. To have Amber has homosexual I thought very odd. I didn't expect that from her. She's the princess so she can't be doing this.

Also, Amber is refered to as a "goddess" even though she doesn't appear to have any special powers, why? I think it's best if I stop reading; I don't want to discourage you from writing.
