I like this backpack idea you have. It's fairly origonal. The story would be alright even without it but the idea that this backpack has everything they need is a good one. Perhaps it's bigger on the inside than it looks on outside?

Not bad I suppose. Made me think of those videos made by Gary Pranzo. Got bored of them ages ago. However a story is different. I see much potential in you as an author.
