Oops! My bad: I thought I was remembering a genuine Australian TV cop-show called "Blue Rats." Turns out I mentally amalgamated two _separate_ shows, by accident!

Maybe I was thinking of a "Blue Heelers/Water Rats" crossover @ Fanfiction.net?

both were made by Southern Star, tho Heelers in rural Victoria and Water Rats on Sydney New Sth Wales city waterfront
