this is not a second review. This is just a response to how impressed I am by the person below me and their crazy attention to detail

Raven has quite a situation on her hand. While it's nice that she can prove that her great grandfather was right it isn't like the world could support a great many giant women especially on her scale. There is also the issue that while she's been well behaved the same can't be said for every woman. Now she can't hide what's happened to her but is it really safe for her to reveal how she obtained such size?

Just being able to study her and the biological workings of her body should provide very interesting results that should keep researchers busy for a long time. I'm curious how willing she's going to be to undergo such testing. Perhaps she could use some of her weight to push for Blaine to be put in charge of the studies to help insure they don't get rough. Then again. She's qualified to direct the studies herself most likely and he could serve as her assistant.

I'm also curious. Just how sturdy is Raven's body at her giantess size? I've seen a few stories in which the giantess skin could be cut with a knife stating that it had only been made thicker. Of course, if a giantess's skin truly had so little resilience it would be ripped apart by its own weight.

Author's Response:

Raven's obsession drove her, so she wouldn't have thought through everything in terms of the kinds of consequences you bring up in your first paragraph.  Remember, it was established that the cave was still in a secure area to which Raven, as family to the original 30-Foot Woman, had unique access.  However, the base where Raven and Blaine wind up in the final scene was abandoned (that may not have been explicit enough on my part, but what else would it have been used for, given that it was scaled for giants, and how could it have been used if there hadn't been any for more than 50 years?)

Part of my premise in the final dialog is that Raven and Blaine between them will keep control of their situation in re: testing, in part in the way you describe.

All in all, your comments are very in telligently written, and I always appreciate well-written and/or constructive criticism.  Thanks!

I am interested to see where this goes, but right now it is a bit dull. Still I feel like it is setting up to something great. I will re-review after a few chapters
