Author's Response: Your counterpart was merely quoting Sir Anthony as part of a semi-good-natured jibe. As for the snake charmer? She is yet another of the demi-giantesses (I absolutely and stubbornly refuse to use the adjective "mini-"!) who will be appearing in subsequent chapters.
