Ah, your male Meriwether again. I have to get him out of the mind, before advancing my little Lee Meriwether gag in the chapters of LOTG Generations I plan to write tonight.

But from your story's point of view, you're doing great as usual.

Author's Response: And, as usual, thank you very much! :-)

How do you remember all these names?

Author's Response: One part, a little re-reading. One part, a miraculously good memory.

And when Arte ate a bad meal from Vince Da Loo's Curry House, what happened?

Arte CHOKEd.

Author's Response: Arte Johnson is a veteran character actor and comedian who's probably best known for his appearances as the "verrrrry interestink" German soldier on LAUGH-IN. The latter, of course, being a mostly counter-cultural TV variety show of the 1960's. And, that catch phrase was probably inspired by an almost-identical line uttered by German-American actor Paul Henreid in some WWII spy film from the 1940's.

Tarzana? is that a real suburb?

Author's Response: Yes, indeed. Founded and named by Edgar Rice Burroughs (author of JOHN CARTER OF MARS, et al.), himself.

There once was a timescribe, who'd do

A positive glowing review,

Quite unlike the lurkers:

Those known duty shirkers,

Who built up the read count in lieu.

Author's Response: X-D X-D X-D

But did it happen faster than you can say, "Peter Parker plucked a pile of pilfered pennies..."?

Author's Response: Oh, brother! You are SO bad! ;-D

Hotel Lilliput and Paradise Island.

Ah, the images that such a combination of names conjure up in the mind of this fan of both Wonder Woman and Gulliver.

But then I'm getting off the topic of your story...

Author's Response: Consider how many gambling casinos are located in the Bahamas, I think the name "Paradise Island" is as much a pun on "pair o'dice" as it is a thinly-disguised homage to the geographic tweaking done by the "Wonder Woman" TV series of the 1970's. To wit; placing the birthplace of Princess Diana in the Bermuda Triangle.

I'd write a lengthy review about Pete, but I'm afraid I moust dashe off somewhere now.

Author's Response: As I understand it, "Moustache Pete" was a derisive term used by American-born Mafiosi to describe the naturalized crime-lords who had emigrated to the U.S. from Sicily, during the 1800's.

Nozama = Amazon backwards.

I think I've become quite a cluey carycomicophile in the last 2 years.

Author's Response: Now, if you can just _say_ "cluey carycomicophile" three times fast, you'll have a Guinness Book-worthy world record.
