Julia was the first giantess story I remember reading from start to finish. I came for the smut, and stayed for the plot. It's still shocking all these years later that I can say a story uploaded to a website I generally only use to get off is actually of rather high quality.

I wish the story had more butt stuff - I remember I originally clicked on it because of the Butt tag - but it had plenty else to hold my attention.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review on such an old story. Yeah, the butt tag is a bit of a technicality in this one, but glad you enjoyed it nonetheless.

I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to back and read one of the first great works i followed back on this site from you, I found this story shortly after you had started writing it when I was new to the idea of giantess and such still exploring it. I was the definintion of a lurker back then and never left a review. Im sorry about that, this story and Freshman were truly great and gave life to my feelings for the giantess genre, I cant belive its been this long since then. This story will always be a gem to me even after all this time.
Thanks Jacksmith.

Author's Response:

I appreciate your kind comments.

I really liked this mate, but there is something im interested. Do you ever considered writing this from Julia's eyes? I would love to read what she was thinking.

Author's Response: It hadn’t occurred to me to write a parallel perspective story; I wrote Julia (the character) to feel like a horror/thriller antagonist, a bit enigmatic and unpredictable. I never say never with this stuff, but don’t have plans to write a Julia POV. I’ve shifted over to writing commissions lately anyway. But I appreciate the interest in my work.

Just curious if you had someone specific in mind (physically) when describing Charlie?

I read thru this story a long while back, but I must have read thru it really fast or something because I hardly remember it being this good! This just might be my all time favorite story on here.. The character development, the setting, the characters themselves, all these things are really good. The surprises you threw in there were a really nice addition as well. Arthur Goodwin? I did not see him coming! I like it when stories are well thought out, where the peices are slowly but methodically put together in such a way that it all comes together nicely by the end. With that said, I don't know how I  would have preferred this little tale to end, so I can't say it ended badly, but I feel like something was missing. Don't get me wrong, you ended it greatly! But something, which I cannot seem to put my finger on, was missing. Perhaps this was meant to be..? Let the  readers ponder it; leave them thinking.. Overall, I'm a sucker for happy/bittersweet endings. This is most definitely in my top 3 favorites.

Author's Response:

Thanks for rereading, and I'm glad you liked it. The ending I'm sure has potential to alienate some readers. Ultimately I had to go with a primarily happy ending, after all the dragging torment of the preceding chapters. I simultaneously left the reader to imagine how the group's life went afterward in higher detail, as the story is really meant to be about their teamwork in captivity rather than the aftermath.

I honestly can't see Evans or Johanssen in a story like this, but then again, I can't see any famous actors in any Giantess story.

I think maybe Jay Baruchel, if he was looking for money, might be a good role for Jack.

Nonetheless, I am impressed with how far you managed to carry this story and keep the readers enthused. 76 chapters is quite a milestone.

Author's Response:

Jay at least has the good-natured semi-bumbling personality. Thanks for reading!

Another story convinced me to stop lurking and make an account: while I'm at it, I may as well give this story, which I've been reading for quite some time, a long-overdue review and five-star rating. Well done, Jacksmith.

Author's Response:

Hey, thanks for that, it's much appreciated. Glad you liked the story.

I know I count myself privileged to have stuck with you and this story for 75 chapters. Indeed, I feel doubly privileged because you actually _finished_ your epic! As opposed to starting out with an intriguing premise, but then running out of steam and just leaving it permanently unfinished on the increasingly unlikely pretext that you might "someday" return to it. Good authors _always_ finish what they start. And, to keep the large fan base you've had over these past four years (over 400 reviewers and almost HALF A MILLION! lurkers) proves, to me, that you...

...are a great author.

Author's Response:

Thanks for sticking with it for so long. No matter how long it takes, I always finish my works (same goes for The Freshman, someday).

*Reads chapter 75* Oh boy, is this intense! How will he rap up the tale? I'm just gal there are no more cliffhangers, and this is it.
*Reads Chapter End Notes* ...DAMN YOU, SMITH AND YOUR ADDICTIVE WRITING STYLE!

Author's Response:

Sorry! I hope the ending delivered!

Top Ten Julia Characters
(Spoilers)

10. Jim
This character may have only been in a flashback from Chapter One, but he left a lasting impression on his house mates. After being fed up with Julia's mistreatment, he stood up, and was tortured and executed in front of Jack and the group. It's because of his death that the others are so afraid of Julia.

9. Kelly
This former nurse is always trying to help her team. Trying to keep peace in the doll house when necessary, and knowing when justice needs to be served, she gets the payment she deserves and escapes Julia's house of horrors.

8. Anna
The ill-fated member of the original five, Brian's beloved and Faith's mother just wants to see the group succeed, but she sadly dies giving life to Faith, leaving no dry eyes in Giantess World.

7. Faith
Anna and Brian's beautiful daughter is the ultimate symbol of hope for Jack, Brian and the rest, giving Brian a reason to fight for, as the last part of Anna left.

6. Dr. Arthur Goodwin
The inventor of the PMRD, and one of Julia's original victims started off as sick and scummy to Jack, Brian and Kelly, but they soon realize that he paid for what he did much more than them, and he redeems himself in the group's eyes.

5. Charlie
Talk about scummy, this is THE scumbag. Never fully on anyone's side, he's the ultimate traitor, who ends up killing Beth in hopes of getting close to Julia, only to get killed by the girl he strived for. Payback's a bitch.

4. Gina
Afraid of heights and Julia, Jack's girlfriend is his reason to fight, and how he keeps his sanity. She may start off scared, and reliant on Jack, but through help from Jack, herself and even Julia, she's able to overcome her fears and stand up to Julia.

3. Jack
The protagonist and narrator of Julia, he was the first hostage, and is the one sent as a double agent by the group to Julia. His love for Gina stays strong no matter how much he is abused by Julia.

2. Brian
Father, teacher, mastermind, martyr. These are just four words we could use to describe this poor guy. Losing Anna and Beth may have hardened him, but he still has feelings. A man who will stand up to Julia no matter what, his sacrifice makes him come full circle, as he finally took the ultimate stand against her.

1. Julia Mack
This psychological and physical monster is by far the meanest and most terrifying character on the site. Always balancing on the tightrope of cuteness and psychopathy, until the end, in which she falls off completely, after constantly being betrayed by the one she trusted the most, yet at the same time, it's fully deserved. The ultimate bitch had to come down, and this story is all about that.

Author's Response:

I appreciate the thoughtful stances on the characters; certainly I wouldn't have expected to see them ranked. Thanks for reading!

I will admit, this is honestly one of the better giantess stories out there. Splendidly detailed, the writing style is spot on, but there are a couple of moments were it's obvious fan-service, but that's nit-picking at it's finest. It's a grand story, and I'm greatly looking forward to its conclusion.

Author's Response:

Thanks for reviewing. I fully admit to indulging in fan-service moments; part of these stories is just having fun, even if the tone is darker like this one.

I CANNOT wait for the finale of this series! I really hope that there is some kind if cliffhanger that allows there to be a sequel to this one. I've loved this story so much!

Thanks very much for reading! Glad you've enjoyed it.

Wouldn't it be a cool story if Julia Jack and Little Blackmail Jack met up and got shrunken together? It would be super confusing because they're both named Jack, but if Gerry can do it and leave Gus Van Sant with a redeemable career, I'm sure you can.

Author's Response:

About 50% of that story would be spent with someone going "Jack?" and then both of them answering simultaneously and getting confused.

Continuing from my last review: its doesnt mean future jack doesnt have an opinion

Author's Response:

Very true, though none of my stories have yet shown future Jack, so it'll still be a mystery for a while.

Good story (just wanted to be the 400th review) one question i have about anotger story though, will jack from a little blackmails thoughts be shared on how he feels about the fact that other people can be shrunk on command?

Author's Response:

A Little Blackmail takes place before the invention of the shrink ray, so Jack actually can't have an opinion on it yet.
