there's a pleasant sense of calm and casualness going on here, meaning i don't have that terrible feeling of dread that normally looms when things are going really well for characters in stories like this. i'm not sure whether or not you plan to introduce a more major conflict into this story, but i honestly don't think i'd mind if you did or not, providing the story doesn't become a novel, because this is quite nice where it is.

This story is just about this one night, so no major conflict this time. But maybe I'll write a longer, more epic story with these characters afterwards, since there are so many possibilities. Either way, I prefer pleasant stories over terrifying ones!
