I was almost sure you'd given up on this amazing story, so imagine my delight at seeing a new chapter! Nell and Daniel seem to have a strong connection, I'd love to see how it develops.

an this chapter answered some questions for me about her growth. an what to look forward to in the next chapters.. just hope that daniel doesnt do anything that will break sweet nell's gentle heart.

Yeah, I know what you mean: I too have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for the next chapter of Now and Then. But I also know that when you force yourself to write something, the results usually pale in comparison to true inspiration. So I often wait until I actually know what I want to write before I'm writing.
The good news is I have an idea of where I'm going for the next chapter!

Yeah, right. You keep telling yourself that, Danny-boy. Maybe (repeat: MAYBE) you'll even come to believe it. But, I don't think Nell will. She seems like a girl who instinctively knows the difference between mere infatuation and true love.

Nell does like Daniel a lot, but she's also only eighteen, and a very naive eighteen at that. So who knows? Glad you're enjoying the story though, Cary.
