 Thank you, SafetyPin, for your encouraging words!  If only one could provide a picture of the female predator - it would be worth a thousand words.

 I shall consider the continuation, and hope, in the meanwhile, there'll be more reviewers to give me the impetus.  P.S. I'm sure I've seen your works before on some other site.
