Author's Response: Alban's based on a pain in the ass, who's been making my personal life difficult with similar nonsense. I just replaced what he was trying to ban with amulets, to tell this story. I won't be fixing him up with anyone. He's staying in the Prison Stretch of Grass port-a-vault indefinetely. You'll soon see who Alicindra ends up with, and I plan to develop that indefinetely, with more instalments germinating in my mind even now.
