Hey man thanks for the support again! We need to do Kaida some justice! She has only been a tool for plot progression in the previous stories while Mayume was infinitely more interesting. Everytime Kaida just shows up and gets humiliated by Reika lol. But she was a powerful demon queen in her own right and she finally got the final laugh against Mayume.

I don't have strong feelings on whether to make the sequel be a new story. I mean, the prequel wasn't, but I think it could be less confusing for new readers. Besides, some people are intimidated by super long stories.

Ok, like most people i decided i had to log in to give you a review.
First off, i want you to know that i hated how much this story sucked me in. I was checking the site every day for updates to this. and I've never been a Gore/violence story type person. in fact i go out of my way to avoid those stories nowadays. But your descriptions of Reika and how she came to be the monster makes so much sense. real Anakin to Vader vibes.
Anyways I loved the main story, because duh Jin and Reika are adorable together, and enjoyed the prequel more than i thought i would. even though part of me was still blissfully optimistic that Arata could break though to her even in the final chapter.

Hey thanks for the review and the positive feedbacks! You are gonna love the sequel, it is infinitely more wholesome at least for Jin and Reika *wink wink. Gonna need sometime to work on it before I start posting here though. Will come back to the time gap between the prequel and the beginning of Resonance in the future!

Wow, I felt some weird feelings, imagining her in original story, when she killed people, it was nothing personal at all, more like domonstration, it was scary, but kinda .... normal? I guess...
But now, she is angry, she is hurt, she felt betrayled and for first time, she fully emerged in her powers....
In comment I made before, you told that you dont know if pace is right, well, she is aready ready to eat people, and she have more than 20 years to go... so I think that there will come some guild, after all of it, but I will love to read, how she is gonna enjoy it.
Power corrupts, but she probably had it in her all along, coz one of her first thougs of this world, was if she is able to bend it to her will.....and....she certainly is

The killing this time felt very personal compare to the casual cruelty she usually shows. But 100 years is a very long time and perhaps she slowly grew indifference to these emotions.
