Nice to see another chapter and it being Jinshin, Blaire, Ben and Liz. I am happy to see Liz able to articulate her story through Blaire. She must feel relieved to be finally heard.
Blaire has the opportunity to understand who she had fallen for.
I can sense there is a hint in here as to at least one of Blaire’s abilities. Possible being able to feel other people’s thoughts and feelings.
And the confusion among them discussing who could also be involved with the call in the previous chapters is great. I love how you articulate this confusion through their discussion.
The innocent courage shown by Blaire is great and makes the reader love her even more.
Okay, now there is another interesting twist with Jacob, who is this person talking to Jacob, their child? If she had known what they would have done to him she wouldn’t have given him away? Many questions about this person or being that can speak with him in his mind.
If this trajectory continues, then there are a lot of possibilities and outcomes that can be seen here. The realization of how evil he had become is interesting to read. The good versus evil in this story is very intriguing.
Very great chapter loving the direction you are taking this and looking forward to where we go from here.
