I've never read a size poem before, and this is really cool! Your word choice is excellent, describing so much with so few. And the plot itself is very cute.

Thank you! I really wanted to try writing something in blank verse. Though my attempts to write in iambic pentameter missed the mark by some way, it was good to set myself that restriction to see how far I could push it. Writing in a regular meter actually really stimulates your brain into a sort of creative problem-solving mode.

It's really great to see other forms of literature expressing macro content other than fictional stories, in this case, a poem. 😃

Also, I really like gentle interactions as well which I think are underused on this site
