It's rare to find a well written story on this site. It's also rare to find a well written one that is highly entertaining and gets you emotionally invested. I can count those stories on one hand to be honest. I'm very glad to say this is one of those stories. The raw emotions displayed in earlier chapters deserves an entire review by itself, so I'll do just that. As for the story as a whole, so far, it's fantastic.

The worldbuilding is intriguing; though the concept has been used a lot, it feels like those elements are being used well here and going forward I'd love to see more as Nick views the Brob world. Maybe even have some of Jeannine's friends come into play and have some danger enter. Maybe more people feel like Jeannine does? Surely there must be some. The possibilities for this story are honestly endless.

The characters are all fantastic so far. Jeannine is incredibly sweet. Nick started out as okay to me, but has grown into a much better character thanks to him finally opening up. Ori is...I'm not sure yet but I'm excited to see what she does in the future. Auri too is an exciting new addition, and I'm sure there will be other POVs established, but hopefully not too many. Can't oversaturate the main cast. But, it could be done if they all feel fleshed out. I'm excited to see where all that goes!

So, yes, this story is certainly shaping up to be one of my favorites on this site, and I'm eager to read more.

What a detailed review! I appreciate you taking the time to express all of that. I'd like to share some thoughts with you as well:

I take the worldbuilding very seriously. A realistic world makes for believable characters. You'll be seeing a lot more of Nick and Ori, but Jeannine will always be the focus. They comprise the main cast, at least for now. Some of the other character, such as Aurelia, have one-off chapters in which we follow their POV. I don't (currently) intend to focus on them, but who knows? Maybe that will change. I think it's important to shift POVs between the big and small. As much as I love size interaction, these characters live in very different worlds. Each of them believes their race is the 'normal' one. It wouldn't make sense for someone like Jeannine to think of herself as a giantess in her everyday life, for example. I think that's the reason why so many stories fall flat. The characters are too one-dimensional to be realistic, let alone compelling. But hey, that's just my take.

I hope you'll continue to enjoy what I have in store ;)

I must congratulate you on a very good story. It must be because I'm a big fan of the Gentle genre. But I love the interactions between the characters and their points of view. Keep it up. As for ideas, I don't know... maybe it would be a good idea for Magna Gratia to face some situations with, for example, insects attacking the city or a Brob discovering it. What about Jeanine's family? I mean, I think the story still has a lot to say?

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm writing this for the gentle fans such as yourself (and me ofc). I do have something planned to do with cleaning, so stayed tuned for that. As for her family... There's little I can say without spoiling. There will be at least one chapter involving her mother, but that's far down the line.
