A nice short story covering one aspect of giantesses that people tend to overlook, the heroine, defending against threats larger than life.
It's an intriguing aspect you portrayed here of an ever-growing hero. This is something that does deserve a longer chronicle if I do say. You're writing appears detailed and dramatic enough to make that concept work. I like that you detail the collateral damage Rhylin's actions cause, its fun contrasting the sheer destructive power of the giantess, and her protective, if caring nature.

Thanks so much—that’s exactly what I was hoping to go for with this story, and I’m really glad it came across! The idea of having tremendous power that’s difficult to control is something I really love, and nowhere is that contrast more apparent than when a hero tries to use inherently destructive powers for good. So even though my giants are villains more often than they are heroes, there’s a special place in my heart for Rhylin.
I’m incredibly glad you liked the story! I have one more story about her on here, and I’ve written out the first few chapters of her origin story on DeviantArt; I definitely want to continue that eventually.
