Excellent story so far! I really like the characterization of Alistair and Maxine, and I like how wholesome it is. Best of luck on the rest of the story!

Excellent first three chapters! Her playfulness is engaging yet a bit unnerving. Curious to see what made him so alluring to her, since it doesn't seem that he had a pre-existing giantess or foot fetish for her to have picked up on.

Him re-growing to less than full height is a very fun hook, as was her aloof response. Perhaps her power cannot manage to return more than 95~% of a shrinkee's height? The quip "I like your height" could be a simple compliment, but it also could be a half-truth, i.e. I want your height.

Anyways, looking forward to your continuation, and thanks for sharing your creative works!

Author's Response:

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the start of this tale.

Hmm, maybe Maxine just likes short shy boys, she definitely seems to be a dominant type.

That part is more up to the reader's interpretation. Is he actually shorter or is he just getting confused after being regrown, who knows, well aside from Maxine.

Cheers for the kind words, hope you enjoy where it goes!

I immediately thought of "Rachel's Lucky charm" once I read the summary to this story. Seeing as I liked that particular tale, I was compelled to try out yours, and you didn't disappoint.

Maxine appears to be a rather fun, caring, if pushy tomboy. I would like to see Alistar's personality to be fleshed out a bit more. Reading on his social awkwardness is rather fun, but it's nice to see a tiny who's able to be defined for themselves.

Basketball players appear to have a relatively significant niche in giantess-related content (pretty obvious as to why, basketball players are taller than average), and it's a niche I enjoy since I'm a fan of basketball itself. I've read some of the other basketball related stories, the two best were, "In the shoes of Giants", and "Sweat and Tears". Sadly, those remain incomplete, so here's hoping yours can make it to the finish line.

Compared to those, I rather like that you actually describe some of the basketball action. In the previously mentioned stories, basketball gameplay is merely mentioned in passing, or so over generalized you had no idea what was going on the court, save for who won. Basketball appeared more an afterthought in those stories, instead of an active element.
You, however, gave a great overview of the game Alistar attended, a competitive match, until the end. Maxine appears to be a stretch big, a center or power forward who can make long range shots. I can make that inference, because of your descriptions. I hope we'll get more game-time action in the future, not just for the thrill of Alistar trying to navigate the body of an active, sweaty tomboy. It would be fun to bear witness to pelting sweat drops, and game winning shots.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you came to that conclusion from the summary alone, and I appreciate the kind words.

I won't say too much about the future of these two and especially Alistair, but the title of the story is actually a bit of a clue in to his development.

Completely agree, giantess basketball players are top tier (wish there was more haha). It's funny you say that, "In the Shoes of Giants" and "Sweat and Tears" are honestly two of my all time favourite stories on this website, and probably a big reason for my bias to this kind of sporty archetype of giantess.

I'm glad you enjoyed that, I've always been decently into basketball so it's actually rather fun to write about, I think it also kind of elevates Maxine and gives a backing to her attitude when you see how good she is on the court too. There will definitely be more game action in the future, Maxine still has a grand final to play...

Thanks for the thoughtful review though, I appreciate it!
