Have you ever thought of doing a sequel to this one?  I really liked the relationship they had, and the scenario seemed like it had a lot of potential to be expanded.

Author's Response: I never really meant for this one to be more than a one shot, I suppose it does have some more potential but I've got a lot of other stories I want to write too. Still, thanks for reading and I'm glad you liked it! This was one of my first stories, but as rough as it is around the edges I'm still pretty happy with it.

The unique concept caught my eye. I really like how you handled Gudrun's character development. That scene where Hiram tends to her after she's injured by the cannon was very well written, and I appreciate how it changed the nature of his relationship with her. Also, it's always good to see a male lead who actually does shit instead of being a passive self-insert.

Only thing I would changed is compress the battle scene into a single scene break. I can tell 4chan's character limit was doing you no favors. But there's also merit in leaving it as it was posted.

Good job on this lighthearted short story. Thanks again Green.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review! This one was one of the earlier long stories I wrote. As a general rule I try to have my tiny characters have more agency and role in the plot, particularly in these fantasy and adventure type stories. I'm not sure if you've read many of my others but if you like a shrunken/tiny guy who is more in the thick of things you'd like a lot of them.

Nice, sweet little story.

I would enjoy seeing more of Gudrun’s home and further tales of Hiram and Gudrun. Or perhaps some fellow shield-maidens taking the same trip as she did.

Author's Response:

I've debated having these characters show up in one of my other fantasy themed stories. They definitely had more adventures, and a happy ending. I do wonder how they'd interact with more communication with her homeland, obviously hers are a fairly supremacist culture, but at the same time the humans in this setting are advanced enough that giantesses can't really conquer them outright.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I'm a big fan of heartwarming stories and I try to write stuff that leaves the reader feeling happy about what happened. A lot of my stories have a feel like this, check them out! I love to hear people's thoughts on them.

Super cute interactions between the two and overall a very nice one off story. Wouldn't mind hearing more about their adventures someday.

Author's Response:

It's tempting, but at the same time I also want to give these two the proverbial ride off into the sunset. I never like to totally close the book on a story but I don't have any further plans for Gudrun and Hiram.
