Okay, so Lexi HAS a death wish XD

Another stellar chapter, I feel so bad for Bridget and damn, I was afraid for Lexi even. I can't wait to see what'll happen now :)

Author's Response: She's definitely willing to take risks when it matters

So that was it. Sanctuary is... like a refuge from what I understood and from its characteristics I think I wasn't so wrong before. It is a place of peace and relaxation for the mind. That haven is for betas apparently who don't want contact with alphas out of trauma or precaution. I think a reviewer at Inheritance said that when I was talking about Nathaniel and his purposes criticizing the mixed zone system. Although there are also Omegas, I think that their main objective is the Betas if their security is so strict. I mean, Lexi could only get through because she was authorized by Kayla. Interesting place, but from the look Bridget gave her adoptive sister, I don't know why I sense that this isn't going to be easy for either of them. I mean, assuming there's a solution. Jack gave us some hints, Chapter 2 Lexi's ghostly appearance, "She could never afford to appear in Lexi's presence", Bridget did, her sister appeared in her presence Chapter 4 Bridget's upset when she broke up her sister's house by mistake Imagine how she feels now after unfairly hurting her sister all because of "unwavering loyalty to the mission of the Omegas". Let's see if she fixes these sisters' relationship at least to some extent. Although it will be difficult.

Author's Response: Yes, that is basically Sanctuary. Mainly a Beta haven with a limited number of Omegas and approved Alphas. Whatever happens next will indeed not be easy for anyone.

Stellar work, as always. I honestly wondered what Alma's role would be in this story when we started focused on her and Jenna - who really is both frightening and distasteful as a human being also, but I wonder if it is her fault of a sad result of how Omega were created.

I'll be interesting to see Lexi going to seek out Bridget now, even if I expect her sister to still put up quite a fight instead of giving in to her wish to come back home.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. And yes, it's a fair guess that the story's not just going to end happily ever after right there as soon as Lexi and Bridget are in a chapter together.

Oh, wow. It's... wow, I'm speechless. I can't even imagine the amalgamation of emotions I felt when I read this chapter. Despite the way Alma expressed herself, something still made me feel sorry for her. It is that behind everything she said to her daughter, as you wrote Jack, there were traces of truth and simply Alma used these grains to plant the seeds of doubt and her twisted thoughts of her in her daughter. But I don't know, I felt sorry for Alma. Maybe it's because she pushes away the only person who could love her somehow I don't know... Wow, fantastic story. I didn't think you'd update it so soon Jack. And it seems that the long-awaited meeting between Bridget and Lexi is approaching. Another thing that surprised me... Jenna musical artist, seriously? Wow that introduces a personality trait of hers that she didn't know about. How mysterious is the soul of this character.

In short Jack keep it up. This Omega universe is really exciting and full of many good stories. Thanks for following this story, friend.

Author's Response: Alma may be evil by basically any standard, but she believes everything she says, and she knows how to manipulate people. And yes, while Jenna is intense, she has some complexity to her for sure. Thanks for reading.

Finally caught up on all of the Omega stories; what an interesting universe this is.

I don't know what Lexi and Alma are even gonna talk about. Alma has very consistently been portrayed as an unrepentant monster, so there's clearly no redemption to be had for her. Hopefully Lexi is able to throw off the mental and emotional burdens she's been carrying around because of Alma once and for all. After the shit she's been through, she deserves to move on.

Speaking of emotional burdens, I hope the eventual reunion between Lexi and Bridget doesn't go smoothly, at least initially. Which is weird to type, since I'd like both of them to have a happy ending in the long run! It just feels like Bridget inflicted such a massive betrayal of trust in Inheritance that it should take some real struggle to heal that relationship. If I remember right (which I might not be), Bridget didn't even really entertain the idea that Lexi was telling the truth about her innocence. Considering how close their relationship was, that comes across as deeply fucked up. I suppose the Fire could be blamed a bit, but that's still no excuse.

I don't know if you can or would even want to answer this question, but any idea what happened to Ackbar? It certainly seemed like there was more planned for the characters and mysteries from Consequences and I bet a lot of people would love to read about them. Every once in a while an author will come back after a years-long absence, so while it's certainly a longshot, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Author's Response: You're correct that Alma is unlikely to change. For Lexi and Bridget, all I'll say is that when they do finally share a chapter, there will still be plenty of story left to go afterward. I wouldn't want to sound too definitive on somebody else's behalf, but we probably won't see anything new from Ackbar for the foreseeable future. Of course I'd like to see that storyline continued too.

Wow, wow. I assumed that a meeting between Lexi and her mother would happen at some point in the story but I can't even imagine what Lexi would say to her mother after 12 years. Her mother taught her to carry out genocide against the Betas and Lexi was the victim of injustice because of one. Wow, that would kind of confirm in Alma's eyes what she told her daughter. And there are two fundamental facts, Alexandra's 'betrayal' of her mother and the fact that she has not visited in 12 years. Wow, I can't even imagine what those two would say except insults. We will see

Author's Response: It will most likely not be a lovey-dovey conversation

Oh, wow. This gets interesting. So a surprise. Umm that didn't sound good at all. Coming from Jenna I think it will not be pleasant for Alma. But judging by what Alma has endured in these 3 chapters, I don't know what could be worse. Let's see

Author's Response: It's definitely a different kind of surprise than Alma is used to with Jenna

Just kill alma already!!! She is never gonna change!!! Also, what happens to Nathaniel? Does he at least have some remorse for his actions and his friends  and relatives are disappointed in him in another sequel?

Author's Response: Probably a good bet that Alma's not about to change anytime soon. This story's much more about Lexi and Bridget than Nathaniel, but who knows in the future?

Nice seeing Omegas are able to shrink someone so much. Wonder if Alma was shrunk even more like bug size to a Beta if it would shatter her mind.

Great interactions with Lexi and the guests but especially when reuniting with Evelyn (who holds back knowing she has no right to act like a mom). Lexi showing how strong she is by trying to move forward.

Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: She definitely wouldn't like it too much

If there is something to be recognized in Alma, it is that despite everything, she maintains the same ideas. She hasn't changed her mind despite being with the most enthusiastic Enforcer in this entire universe, until now. Although I think that last thing Jenna did may make her see things from another perspective, but in the end I think she will continue to think the same.

But well, I think we will agree that if there has been a true antagonist in these three stories, it has been Alma. Not even Nathaniel, I would say that Alma has been the true villain whose heritage and actions have reached her daughter in an unhealthy way. Let's see what happens to her in this story. I don't know why I have the impression that she will once again do her thing.

Author's Response: You're definitely onto something with Alma and her significance to Lexi's character + the stories she'd appeared in.

Sorry for this review after another of the same chapter. I would not want to be considered spam because that is not the intention but I wanted to clarify something. Now that I read it for the fourth time I realize something.

I think a meeting between Jenna and Lexi would be awkward because now I think I understand what the author meant when he said "knowing exactly what the young Enforcer had sitting in a glass cage in her bedroom just a few houses down." If my hypothesis is correct, considering the ending of Omega: Hostage, I would say that she is Lexi's mother, Alma. Although in the end Jenna swallows it, I don't know if she died because of it. Maybe that's why Jenna didn't go to the visit at the Cade house. Oh wow, I hope I'm not spoiling (as always) but I think now I can see why Jenna didn't go to the party.

Wow, incredible, it is very subtle how the situation is described and without using so many words. It is simply magnificent.

Author's Response: Jenna will definitely be making an appearance in this story and her absence from the party will be lightly addressed.

God damnit, I almost missed two chapters in a row ! What a dunce I am !

Another stellar chapter (well, chapters). A little surprised we aren't seeing more of Bridget since I kind of expected her to have a bigger role since she had a whole chapter to herself as soon as the second one, but I can honestly live with that because this story is just too well written to be mad at anything.

Like, each Omega got a real depth just from the way they stood in comparison to Lexi. And that last bit about Bridget breaking down because of what Lexi said, which was meant to be something positive ? I'am crying, I ain't lying about it !

I can't wait to see the two of them reunited, and also I'm pretty sure that they have more than sisterly love - at least Bridget has. I alreayd kind of felt that way in the original story, that she acted more like a scorned lover than anything else, but here? That's cementing it for me, that's my headcanon from now on/

Author's Response: It definitely is mainly Lexi on her own in this earlier part of the story, but Bridget will still have a major role to come. Thanks for reading.

Another outstanding chapter!

Can’t wait to see how things will develop going forward based on who was (and wasn’t) featured in this chapter, especially given the intriguing tags discussed in earlier reviews

Cant wait for more!

Author's Response: Thanks very much. Some of those tags won't get used until much later in the story, but there will be a lot of variety.

Oh wow How many omegas. There are some that I know, and others I don't think so. I don't remember that Alexis Bandera. I guess she is a new character in this story. Benett seems to me that he is the son of the teacher of the history of Omega: Keeper. Dawn I remember her from Omega: Hostage and Claire is always with her imposing attitude from her but at the same time empathic from her. Although she did say something in her speech from She to Lexi that makes me wonder. How will the Omegas make sure that what happened to Lexi doesn't happen again? I remember a reviewer at Inerithance saying the same thing. A beta could do the same to an Alpha and if nobody proves his innocence of him he will be punished just like Lexi. But anyway, I guess you could count on Kayla in those cases. Let's see how the story unfolds.

Another thing that I would like to see at some point in the story is a meeting between Jenna and Lexi hahahaha. That would be nice. Kayla in a conversation with Abby told her that Jenna was the closest to Fire of all the Omegas of this generation. She enjoys her work more than she should and does it with all enthusiasm. But seeing firsthand that injustice can go both ways must have caused something in her mind to contain that sinister Fire. Or maybe she didn't do it at all.

The other most worrying thing about what is happening is Bridget's situation. If Lexi doesn't rescue her from herself she'll collapse from madness. The Alpha has to be strong, this will not be an easy mission.

In short, great story. When I read it I imagine the scenes in my mind as if I were a spectator who empathizes with the characters and therefore feels their emotions. For me it is a true work of art. Let's see how it ends. I honestly don't know how this story doesn't have more reviews or comments because it's a very good story and those comments help motivate the author to continue it.

However, Jack, I assure you that even if it is not enough, I will always be a faithful reader of this literary work.

Author's Response: Because a lot of this story is in Lexi's perspective, we won't actually see what Claire was referring to, but it's safe to say something more active was done than just being extra vigilant. Jenna will be making an appearance in this story. And Bridget is definitely in need now.

Only saw one major flaw with this chapter, it was too short.  Eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Author's Response: Most of the chapters in this story will be longer. This is just more of a setup scene. Thanks for reviewing

Oh, wow! This gets more and more interesting. Wow, this chapter was a bit short but it contains some important news. That party Evelyn is throwing, wow, I have to read it. Jack please follow this story please don't abandon it. If you can, finish it, it is a very good story. Every time I read it I have a need for more. That Lexi encounter with the Omegas will be crucial. Let's see to what extent Alpha has overcome her fears. I imagine there will be some of the most important people in the Omega universe. Like Claire, Jenna and Melody. Oh crap! I'm already guessing again. Even so, I still worry about Bridget's situation, if that torment causes the Fire to awaken in her it will be fatal. Let's see what comes of all this.

Author's Response: I 100% guarantee that this story will be finished.

Hey! Really enjoying this story, and sorry to post here, but did you ever plan to continue ALBM now that Carley is a real giantess? I've always wanted to soon what she would do with a whole world of tinies to play with. It would be great if she kept growing bigger and bigger.  I've always considered it your greatest work, and thanks for your consideration!

Author's Response: That one's probably going to stay dormant for the foreseeable future, but I won't say "never" either unless I have no choice for some reason.

Man I haven't read Omegaverse stuff in a long time, it's nice to see this universe still being revisited every now and again. I'm not going to go into the theorycrafting the other reviewers are doing, I'm just going to say this is a good story so far.

Shame Ackbar seems to have stopped writing completely or at least doesn't do GTS stuff anymore.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading. I too would enjoy seeing something new from Ackbar.

This month I have been reading the history of Inheritance and the initial part of Animus I don't know how many times in a row. Analyzing it and the truth is that I cannot stop reading it. I am one of those who immerse themselves in stories and try to draw at least one lesson or conclusion. What I always wonder is why Bridget was allowed to be the executor who carried out Lexi's sentence. Even in a conventional investigation, if a detective or criminologist from an investigation team has a sentimental relationship with a suspect, it is automatically removed from the investigation. As Evelyn said, what was Bridget trying to prove? In the long run it would hurt. even if Lexi had been guilty the damage would be done no matter what. Wouldn't it have been better for another executor to handle the case? Oh well, I guess Lexi being innocent was even worse because her own sister was the one who did her senseless harm. It was devastating in both ways. From what we see in this chapter, the feeling that her sister dehumanizes her and sees her as if she were an insect still remains in Lexi.

That is why I would like to see how the literary teacher Jacksmith solves these conflicts between the sisters. As Bridget told Lexi:

Please, please keep writing this story Jack. It is very good.

Author's Response: Glad it's been worth repeat reads. To be honest, this story isn't really going to deal with the logistics of why/whether Bridget should've been allowed to be Lexi's Enforcer in the first place, but obviously the overall story will be all about lingering conflicts.
