Bridget is acting awfully selfish here. Yeah, Lexi said she'd do anything, but this is taking advantage of that in a pretty messed up way. She knows how much it'll hurt Lexi to go through with this. Threatening to let a random Alpha punish her in order to coerce Lexi is beyond the pale.

I feel like Bridget is (unwittingly?) trying to take the easy way out here, which is strange to say about someone who is willing to go through hundreds of odd little torture sessions She's still focusing on what happened between her and Lexi, instead of focusing on why it happened. I hope this plan of hers backfires somehow. I could easily see this leading to Lexi having an emotional breakdown, potentially forcing a conversation where they finally have to tackle the real issue head-on.

Author's Response: It's very reasonable to wonder at this point whether Bridget is doing something right or wrong here, or for the correct reasons. Guess we'll have to see.

Oh, wow. It is what we imagined. I start to think and when I read this it reminds me of Melody's case with her sister Ashley. The Omega was unable to do what the Aegis Enforcers did. And yet she reluctantly had to discipline her sister. Bridget launched a spear at her sister. Do you prefer someone else to do it? WOW Although good in theory if that happened that Alpha would have to be caught and placed with an Omega. Oh Lexi what a titanic task, you will have to suffer what Bridget suffered doing this or worse. Since at least your sister did it thinking that she imparted justice but in your case... you don't have that escape. Who knows if the remedy will be worse than the disease.

The other funny thing is that Lexi studies Bridget's manual. A document known only to Aegis Enforcers in its preparation. But could Lexi read it? I mean, there are no issues like the size of the book? The Omega books must be huge in size for an Alpha. Someone would have to help Lexi with this task. And good to recommend Lexi to focus only on Class C sanctions lest the A is read and the unthinkable happens. :)

I would like to know what Lexi's acquaintances think of this. Especially Evelyn. Or will she stay secret? Let's see.

Author's Response: At least some of these considerations you have are answered in the next chapter. Thanks for reading.
