I really liked this story. I like how the sheer difference in size was conveyed. like how even faint whispers to Yumiko are like the sounds of a natural disaster to the tiny person because their simply too small to understand them.

 

I think the ending was great as well. It's an interesting idea to have the giantess accidentally crush their friend while trying to help them. What seems to be a gentle touch to her was an absolute death sentence to the other girl. emphasizes the vast difference in power and scale.

 

I hope you write more in the future :)

Excellent start, and I love the scale! I really hope Yukimo (nickname Yuki?) "grows" to love the machine as she shrinks people...then maybe whole towns! It would even be fun if she shrank a cruise ship and made it a bath toy! And hopefully something like a cruise ship wouldn't crush so easily. Finally, it would be fun if the police found out what she was doing and to get out of trouble she just grew herself a thousand feet tall and had fun with a whole city! You already reference godzilla, and she would make godzilla look like a toy! If the shrink ray can restore size...maybe it can grow thinks? Really hoping for a lot of great bare footplay content. Great start!
