Excellent chapter. So their clothes or things on their persons did shrink with them. Since it is a hospital and theirs are usually pregnant patients within varying stages of pregnancy to labor, so you think we will hear about maya coming across any. Maybe some exploded cause the babies didn't shrink when they did.

Great start. Like how you used gas as a catalyst and it didn't affect everyone the same. Imagining bodies with some shrunken parts and dying from their body not being able to handle the stress was interesting. Do wonder though. Did the gas only affect living tissue or shrink clothing or other materials as well? Will the keys be too tiny for the lock? Would be slightly funny unless she had a way to turn them back.
