Fucking hell that was one hell of a chapter and that ending was so good. It was great seeing them interact but it was pretty scary how Jen acted when she had Brain in her hands, it was like some yandere type shit and it gave me some bad vibes but I’m glad Elizebeth caught it quick and seemingly nipped it in the bud, but I have a feeling it's going to become an issue in the future. It was a little scary when she found out the Allie was the chev he was sent to God forbid she finds out about the torture and Cass cause that is not gonna be pretty. And goddamn, really showing how little faith he has in his mother with those last few lines, ouch. I didn’t think Brain was going to meet his mom so soon or maybe he won't, you kinda ended it on a cliff hanger but whatever happens I’m excited.

Author's Response:

Thank you very much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! For sure, Jen has some issues that are rising to the surface. Hard to blame her, after everything she's been through. It'll definitely come up again, so I hope you'll find it interesting. For now, though, we'll shift focus a bit to Brian's mom. He has absolutely zero faith in her, that's for sure.

I always enjoy a good cliffhanger! Maybe a bit too much. Regardless, you never have to wait very long for my next updates, so hopefully it isn't too bad. Thanks again for your continued reviews, and I hope you enjoy what happens next!

Long time lurker since around when The Titan Empire stuff was on this site so I've preformed a ressusitory procedure on my account to leave a review starting with a question, are you Hamilton? because you're non stop with the quality writing.

Additionally I've really enjoyed and am impressed by the way you've used shrinking as less of a story focus and more of a device to tell a story about relationships, trauma and political machinations.

I cut it off there because I started rambling but the long and short of it is I like the way you write and am eager to read more of it as it comes.

Author's Response:

Thank you very much for reading, and the review! I'm honored to have received the first review on your account, and I really appreciate your kind words. Although I'm certainly no Hamilton, I'm just a young adult of questionable sanity who has way too much time on his hands.

I'm really glad you're enjoying the plot and character elements of the story! Absolutely, this is less a shrinking story and more a story with shrinking elements. I think the giantess genre creates plenty of opportunities for non-erotic stories and plotpoints, so I wanted to try giving that a shot. I'm really happy you're enjoying it, and I hope you enjoy where we go from here!

Jen overcame her obsessive-ness and protectiveness, handing Brian back to Allison with just a slight hiccup. But here comes the big crossroads. Jen told Lauru Bentley she was going to see her brother and let her be the driver to tag along. Her intentions might be good but this is already a serious breach of trust. Out of all the characters in the story, Laura Bentley is one of the one's I least expect to act rationally. Jen's probably going to make a plea about how guilty and remorseful their mother has been, and how it would be better if Brian forgave her. He might agree to it down the road, but I really doubt he's ready for it today. He was scared to let Jen see him so small and vulnerable, I'd wager he'd be furious to let Laura see him in that condition given she contributed to it and made him break down mentally for three years.

The worst part is I have a fear that Laura might not walk away if Brian refuses to see or speak with her. There's always a chance she'll try to call the police/something like the Child Protective Services about her reduced son being in the hands of strangers and just generally stir-up trouble trying to get him back because she thinks it's the right thing to do. Brian's trying to remain hidden for his own safety, and Laura may set of a fog light on him and the girls. It wouldn't surprise me if Elizabeth puts her foot down and refuses to let Laura in to see him at this time. Here's hoping Jen doesn't push when Brian puts his foot down, and Laura respects him needing his distance from her until he's healed mentally and cured physically.

Author's Response:

Yeah, this is a pretty important moment. Jen obviously had her reasons, but she really should have kept it to herself. Seeing as how Elizabeth is currently the only one (aside from Jen) who knows that their mom was brought along, she certainly won't sit still. You're also right about Brian, he has absolutely no desire to see his mother, which both she and Jen will certainly have opinions about. As for how everybody will react, we'll find out soon. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy how it progresses.
