I gotta admit, I'm a little sad to see this story end.  I missed the previous chapter, so this review is going to be a bit longer than usual.  Deal with it.

Miniature Apologies was a very appropriate name for the second to last chapter.  It was nice to see Kim and Bobby patch things up somewhat gradually. I liked that bit about him fearing Kim was going to pull her hand away as he was about to step onto it.  It seemed like groundless paranoia until the history between the two was revealed.  After that, I couldn't really blame Bobby for having trust issues.  I still really liked Kim's character, despite the less than flattering revelation.

This addition also gave a whole new relevance to Sarah's friendship lecture from a couple of chapters ago.  It was really just an apology in advance for what she was about to do.  Brilliant foreshadowing.

I was thinking Kim was going to switch places with Bobby at the end of the story...right up until she said she would do it.  It was still a very poignant moment, though.

And now for the finale.  Yes, it was somewhat abrupt, but I wouldn't have brought it up if you yourself hadn't.  It really couldn't be helped.  Jen's story couldn't be brought to light any earlier, nor could Andy have been introduced until said story was revealed.  It was a lot to throw into one chapter, but it worked.  Besides, like you said, there was plenty of depth and loose end tying to make up for the abruptness.

In this chapter more than any other, you successfully demonstrated how insignificant three inches in height can be.  Bobby's attempts to find Jen and get her attention really drove home how pathetically small he was.  Though I would like to know where he found the strength to push that T.V. over, but that's just a knit pick.

You captured the conflicting emotions of both Bobby and Jen amazingly well in this chapter.  It was very involving to read their confrontation, and the reader can really feel for both the characters.  It also made the ending a lot more satisfying.  That ending was my second guess, by the way (no, seriously!).

I cracked up at the tea bags line.

Author's Response: Well Im certainly glad youve been a fan of this story for such a long time, and I wouldn't completely count this concept out... I may or may not make a sequel to this, I need some time to think of a plot. The reason why a sequel would be so hard is, I'd want to incorporate the perspectives of 3 other characters for it to work, in other words, me jen and kim would have completely seperate adventures that would tie together, but im not sure how well that would work out. I might do something like it in the future though

P.S.----thanks for sharing this. If it was your debut, here, then I think it safe to say your popularity is assured.

Author's Response: lol thank you very much but as a matter of fact this is far from my debut, Ive got 8 other stories, including a couple I have yet to finish

Must say this story is one great masterpiece. I haven't seen many stories quite like this and was enjoyed with it all the way through. Its amazing how one small idea with no direction can suddenly turn to such a wonderful story. The ending had me in smiles and felt it was appropiate for this piece. There really ins't much more there could be done but that does not mean I wouldn't liek to read more.

Defently a fine read to any Giantess fans even if the giant portion isn't your thing. Awesome work man.

This is a really great series and the first one where I really look forward to checking every day to see if there's a new chapter. The character development is excellent and the giantesses are not stereotypical, they have very realistic reactions. Except for the non-challant reactions they have when first encountering little people, I can easily see real life people reacting they way they do in the story.

A big congratulations and thank you to the author for such a well written series. I hope it never ends, but when it does you can bet that I'll be reading it.

Author's Response: well then just to warn you, next chapter is most likely the final chapter of "My little friend", but I might write a sequel with the same characters in it, if I can think of new story ideas. Even if I don't, I do have ideas for other stories tha would feature me as the main character with different backup characters.

In the time I've been browsing through this website I've run across this story on several occasions. And each time I just kind passed over it, thinking that it would be like so many others that I had read. So imagine my surprise when I finally give it a peek only to wind up flopped out for hours reading it. ^.^  There's just something about the natural flow of the character developement and the troubles they face.. It's easy to put yourself in any one of their shoes. And to really see things unfolding as if you were there. So to you Sonicfan I say, your doing a wonderful job! And please keep up the good work. I check this site everyday now, anxious to see if you've added a new chapter. :)

Well, speaking on Bob's behalf, there must be something to the old legends (within the context of your story). Otherwise, he couldn't have gotten so small just by wishing it. And, by process of elimination, that goes double for how Jen, herself evidently got shrunk, in the first place!

Holy hell, man! You sure know where to end 'em!

You did Kim exactly like I hoped you would. She likes to get under people's skin and get her way, but she really is a good person beneath it all. I especially liked the touch of bitterness you threw in there. It makes the idea of her caring about Bobby very believable.

Wow, I really didn't see that last twist coming. I, too, bought into Jen's fairy story whole-heartedly. The best thing about said twist, though, is that I really have no idea where you are going to go from here. I don't even know if Jen ever planned on switching back with Bobby in the first place. My mind was swimming with ideas and questions as I finished this chapter.

This chapter was amazing, and for a lot of different reasons, too! Great job all around.

Author's Response: thanks, glad you enjoyed it

I was wondering how Kim was going to get her hands on Bobby.  More importantly, I was curious to see what kind of person Kim actually was.  The cool thing is that I'm still not sure, especially with the way the chapter ended.  It's hard to tell whether she just likes to tease Bobby and is angry that he won't trust her, or if she is a legitimately cruel person.  Such ambiguity has me very anxious to read the next chapter.

I liked how Sarah felt she had to make sure everything was cool between her and Bobby in the car.  While Bobby wasn't too bothered by her eariy behavior, it didn't sit quite right with me.  It's good to know that, after coming to her senses, her previous actions really seemed wrong to her.  Of course, if she would have adhered to her promise of not playing with Bobby, not even a little bit, she wouldn't have lost him.  I'm sure she's freaking out right about now.

I can't stress enough how good you are at giving us readers Bobby's perspective.  Those little niches, such as his parts unknown comment and his babbling about the size of the mall building give his thoughts a greater sense of realism.  Keeping Jen as the dominant thought on his mind makes a lot of sense, too.  His descriptions continue to be great as well.

Maybe Bobby can take comfort in knowing that if he never grows back, that means Jen can stay big forever?

Oh, and one minor thing.  The word is terrified, not terrorfied.  Also, no rocket ship mentioning in this chapter?  What's up with that?

Author's Response: thanks, that does make more sense... i think i made a few typos in that chapter, glad youre liking the story though, and who knows, maybe rockets will come back...

Heh! Wouldn't it be funny if they met Jen at the same mall (trying on normal women's fashions)?

By the way, I've noticed you referenced rocket ships four times in the last two chapters.  Is this story sponsored by NASA or something?

Author's Response: lol i didnt even realize that, but nah, i guess i just like rocket ships

Yeah, I figured Sarah would play with Bobby at least a little bit.  It's nice to see her come to her senses, though.  Things probably won't be so bad for him now, unless of course she loses him.

You had a lot of nice descriptions in this chapter, both in actions as well as scenery.  You write with balance, so the reader can visualize the scene yet not be bogged down in meaningless and boring details.  This chapter is one of the better examples of this.

Bobby's inner monologing once again puts the reader in his shoes.  He goes through a myriad of emotions and experiences in this chapter, so that is no small task.  I'm glad he's starting to adapt to his new size, because I've still got a feeling it's going to be a while before he sees Jen again.

The guy gives up his size to the girl he loves for her birthday. And she leaves him, for she can do her own things. Now thats just mean of her, and after all that he had done for her also.

I thought you might do something like that.  You set it up really well, too.  You successfully evaded many cliches, which is very much appreciated.  Bobby putting those quotes together in his head was a nice touch, as was his self-imposed slowness to catch on to what it would take to make Jen big.  I really liked Bobby's reactions to his new height as well.

The dialog is impressive, as always.

You've left yourself lots of room to write.  I have no idea what Sara has in store for poor Bobby.  i mean, I know she won't hurt or torment him, but I don't think she's above having a little 'harmless' fun at his expense either.   Also, It'll be neat to see how Jen experiences the world through her new perspective.  I've got a feeling it'll be a while before Bobby gets back to her, though.

Hmmmm! I thought sure something more would be required for the wish to work. Like a mutually consentual kiss (or something).

Ah, well! At least Jen is happy, for the time being.
