Tina has everything she ever wanted. Eva is an attentive pet. Its good that there's still a voice inside her that is sane, even if it is small. Trauma can lessen over time, and maybe that voice can fight for control again.

This story gives me so much anxiety. That means you did a good job, so don't think I'm saying its a bad thing.

If Eva gets rescued and restored, I petition for a sequel story called 'A Lesson in Karma' where Tina and Amy get to experience what they did to Eva first hand while Eva relearns being human.

The story could end right here. Tina's goal was to put a bully in her place, and that's been fully accomplished. Remmeber when people (myself included) thought that Eva would shrink Tina? How far we've come from that.

But something's going to happen to upend everything, and it's going to come from two people. Amy and Dana have been doing something that we haven't seen because we're seeing everything from Tina's perspective. Amy is manipulating Tina toward some end that it unknown to us because Tina is too childlike to realize that Amy's friendliness is a facade. Dana probably suspects Tina, and with the help of the police officer we saw earlier, is about to spring into action and take Tina down. Earlier in the story, Amy figured out that Tina used the shrinker, because Tina didn't recharge it. It's likely that Dana knows about that too. However, I doubt that Dana and Amy are working together - they have opposite goals, and so they'll probably be in conflict.

One last thing to note is that we haven't actually seen Dana work with the police. Normally, when someone does something wrong at a business, the business fixes the problem internally as much as possible, and only gets the police involved when it's unavoidable. If a company's been embezzled or defrauded, for example, the money lost to the crime is far less than the lost stock value if it became public knowledge. In this case, Dana has an interest in making sure that the public never associates kidnapping, rape and torture with her company, and the public could find out if it appears in a police report. Or maybe Dana wants to see Tina criminally charged. We'll see.

Author's Response:

I gotta say I am not sure where the idea of Amy as a manipulator came from haha, but you raise some interesting points absolutely. Time will tell.
