Very interesting that she had this dream. Maybe that is exactly what awaits her with Tina, but roles reversed.
You leave it to the reader to interpret what Tina means with the words, "Ready for work".

I don't think she can exactly have what Eva had in her dream, but when Eva is missing long enough, would people suspect or care. Dana would find out quick and is smart. She is much smarter than Eva.

Love seeing Eva go through all that what has already been done and what you have in store. I like the very realistic and detailed way how people come to the desicions they make. That there are realistic logistical rules and natural rules in your universe makes this story so interesting.

Another mental blow for Eva could be that he no showing causes her to be fired.
I like how Tina is thinking alot about every step she takes alot and possible consequences on many levels.

Her psysical and mental jabs towards Eva you have in such good interesting balance as time progresses. Both are interesting, the subtle jabs more on a mental level that at first seem not that big, but hit hard when you think about it the more time progresses, are the most interesting ones to me.
I wonder if Tina let other people in on the secret and let them interact with Eva and what friends and family Tina and Eva have much later in the story.

It makes this story such an interesting journey of exploration on so many levels.
I care for the characters so far. Well done.

@LovableTable: There's room for a dream of revenge later...

Remains one of the best stories going. Was really hoping to see Eva shrinking her enemies with plenty of cruelty from her when this first started, but I've come around to her being abused, mainly because Tina has been very well written.

But I'd be lying if I said this alternate reality/dream chapter didn't scratch an itch for me.

Author's Response:

The bait and switch did leave some folks disappointed I'm sure haha, but happy this chapter helped alleviate that!

This sort of alternative universe chapter is fun. It shows good stuff that you wouldn't see otherwise.

Going forward, it seems like there's going to be an ongoing misunderstanding. Eva made a lot of bad assumptions about what Tina was doing and what the others at the office were thinking. Eva still hasn't figured out that Tina didn't betray her the way she thinks, and that could have a big impact on how Eva perceives her situation and changes her outlook.

Author's Response:

Not gonna say a word haha. Time shall tell how it all plays out. Happy you liked it though!
