My hands are starting to get tired from all thes cliffhangers lol. Once again great work! Still not sure how their boyfriend/girlfriend physical relationship works yet. Maybe we'll cross that bridge at some point? In a classy way of course that matches the tone. Also, don't let him become big, it's too obvious an ending. Have him sacrifice his size to save her. That's the kind of sacrifice she made for him, a sacrifice of future, thus finally putting them as equals. Not sure how that would work exactly, but I bet there's a way :) Anywho, looking forward to seeing this story unfold.

Author's Response:

I apologize for the repeated cliffhangers! I realized after posting that I had three in a row. For my last story I never felt too badly about cliffhangers since I was updating so frequently, but perhaps I should be a bit more responsible with this one x_x

Yes, we'll definitely be getting into that aspect of their relationship! Right now we're in the "Elizabeth" section of the story, if you will, but it'll be a focus soon enough. Elizabeth's talk with Allison about the power dynamic in their relationship is a starting point for that.

I'll be sure to keep your thoughts in mind for the ending! I think that's an interesting way of thinking about it. Regardless, I hope you enjoy where we go from here! Thanks again for your continued reviews.

I'm wondering now if she was once indifferent or encouraging of the Shrink Penalty or is part of a grander social experiment. She has to have some link to the creation or operation of the program if she's able to manipulate recruitment and, if she reveals next chapter, which prisoners go to which Chevaliers. It also seems too weak of a plan if her goal of undermining the program after "turning against it" was subjecting a student she cared for to it by nominating her and sending the most corrupt criminal case prisoner to her. Allison clearing doesn't fit the psychological profile of a Chevalier, so Elizabeth was only going to do her more harm then good sending her there as a way of getting over an abusive ex. And Allison being convinced to spare Brian, her golden ticket to challenging the system, was entirely up to chance.

If she really is an outsider to the program, then maybe she is simply a friend or aquaintence of a high up executive that wants to gain clout overthrowing the system or is simply disgusted with it. "I was not the only one on your side". It would explain how she can manipulate the Shrink Penalty system but not gain access to Brian's court documents. I think she's going to upset Brian in the next chapter by explaining how she saw an opportunity with his case to attack the system, planted the idea of Brian's corrupt case with Allison, guided her into becoming a Chevalier during her struggles, manipulated the prison to send Brian to her, and then left his life entirely up to chance. Brian actually took a huge risk calling her out since she could threaten him for potentially ruining her and her partner's plans by refusing to cooperate. I also think Cathy's life is legitimately in danger since Elizabeth is "investigating her" and can send a request to her allies to silence her or kill her in order to not endanger the plan.

Author's Response:

Yep, your suspicions were correct again! You're really good at picking up on the hints that I place here and there. This definitely creates a lot of new questions about Elizabeth's true relationship with the SP, as well as how far her influence goes. I hope you'll enjoy finding out what the truth is!
