This is arguably the good ending out of the two you wrote. A new world government, created by a force powerful enough to take on the world and win. I do not how much power the Supreme Chancellor has, but it is implied that General Veers has dictatorship powers, which considering that the Confederation of Nations rules the entire earth, is a cause for concern. Power corrupts, and not many Cincinnatuses end up with power in history. You also have to take into account the individual's, in this case, Veers's personal beliefs. How can he administer the entire world, with vastly different regions, geography, cultures, and peoples? Is the Confederation of Nations democratic? Will people be represented, or merely squashed when they raise complaints? How about all the issues plaguing the world, such as hunger, poverty, disease, etc? Problems within each (former) country? Power is not enough to bring peace, as knowledge is required as well. I can see a dystopia resulting from this. Nevertheless, this is a really great story. I'll be following you, author.

What James and the general said came true. Saw James's death coming, for what else can induce this rampage? I find myself inclined to agree with the general, for someone with such power will cause an imbalance of power in society. I always wondered about how some being with unfathomable power, or even a generic OP anime protagonist, can take over the world's political systems, if they have the skill for politics and the benefits of their powers. No people, no matter how united, no matter if the entire world turned against them, would succeed. A dystopia, for sure. Other ending now!

The damn cliffhanger! This is one of the few GTS stories that I am actually invested in. The character development is superb: Violet's journey to take control of her own life, prompted by her condition, James's part in the story, a side character but nevertheless influential, and General Veers, which the reader would think to be an antagonist but is more complex than the stereotypical bad guy. Good thing I discovered this work finished. Onward to the next chapter(s)!

My friend, the psychology you wrote here is excellent! For instance, the rush Violet experiences can be compared with sadism. Someone with sadism gets a rush of dopamine and other pleasure neurotransmitters when they hurt someone, whether small pranks observed in everyday sadists or larger, more serious acts. Someone's moral guidelines also play a role. For example, malignant sadists wouldn't feel much reserve when torturing someone; they're only focused on gaining that rush. This raises questions on where Violet stands in this spectrum. The psychological manipulation by General Veers is fascinating as well, because it can be argued either way, good or bad. Violet's reactions showcase the conflicting thoughts within her, juxtaposing her pre-growth life's insecurities with the opportunities to assert herself in this new life as a size-shifter. In a world where the giantess can't be harmed by conventional responses (illustrated wonderfully by the detailed process in which the bomber crew dropped the thermonuclear bomb), the battle in the mind will be the deciding factor. I also like the quotes at the beginning of each chapter foreshadowing what is the come as well as the complimentary illustrations to the text.

I'm impressed on how you incorporated behavioral psychology into the story, exploring how Violet reacts and accepts her condition while the effects of her actions resound with the environment around her. Love the tidbits of history as well!

I never expected a GTS story to mention Rommel and the Romanian front of ww1. The history nerd within me is pleased.

Are you still writing this story? At this huge size it would be fun to see her use a whole city as a foot toy. People in the city could climb her toes or explore the wrinkles on her sole to give her a giant foot massage.  She's earned it after that blast! Great work!

How am I just finding this story now?  Wow, incredible work and I so appreciate the images to go along side it.  I love that she finally took her shoes off and went barefoot as well.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I appreciate your support. Making the images can be just as fun as writing the stories.  If you want to see higher resolution versions of the images you can check out my deviantart page.
