Hey there, this story was wonderful. I definitely enjoyed the conflict between the two sides, and the back and forth between them until our wonderful protagonist finally succumbed to their fate.
In addition to enjoying the narrative, I found the footplay wonderful as well. My favorite moment was seeing their 'betrayal' of Lucrezia, forcing her to unwillingly partake in the worship all while Cithrel lazily basked in her power. It was a rather lovely moment.

Thank you for the wonderful review! The elves have turned battering down humans into a system, so sadly even fighting against them is more a mental exercise on the human's part.
I'm hoping to do some more stories in the "Humanity's Downfall" universe. This one was more focused on the humans, but there will probably be a mix.

You certainly managed to capture the despair that humans feel when they are captured wonderfully! As well as the general casual disdain that the vast majority of elves have for humans. Doesn't matter who you were, because in Elsira you are just another animal to be taught the proper way. Unless you are lucky, they you just get patronizing pethood. Great so far!
