Thanks, there definitely will be more of a struggle for Annabelle to maintain her "self" as the chapters progress. Though I can't say if Leah will "win" Annabelle in the end, there will be a lot of moments when Annabelle may have to do certain unsavory things for her tormentor.

The introduction of the whole MIB thing ups the ante but they did mention one if the daughter of the Governor so it makes sense. Annabelle's cunning however does give her a fighting a chance.

Thanks for letting me know! I think I got them all, but when I copied and pasted my story from another word document, it turned all my italicized words into some weird code. I had to manually go back and type it into this site's word document.
