Waited too long to read this. Awesome twist. A great way to make the girls care for his survival too, but not so much as to be unreasonable. Great writing, as always. You characters just make sense.
The only thing I worry about is that greed is going to get into the way of sadism, but then again, there is always going to be Sofia.

Damn, if that story about Abi's parents watching and breaking down as their abused and battered son got auctioned off while she looked on is true, and she's still so proud of herself, then jesus christ she's a real monster. Here's hoping if there's a sequel that he can gain Sofia's protection or he's fortunate to be sold off to someone who wants a healthy albiet subservient pet.
P.S. Is that last bit about Abi getting the "bug" from her brother a reference to her enjoyment entrapping and selling the diminished or is Abi herself possibly an afflicted victim running out of time (and desiring to quickly earn that safety net in savings)?

Nigma, I apologize about the rating. I just thought it would be funny to see Sophia cry like a winy baby when she loses her friend upon getting found out after the man shrinks to oblivion. She would have serious mental issues when her friend roasts her and makes her consider being nice, scoff that her friend is weak or considers suicide as she couldn’t live with the guilt. But hey that’s just my thoughts and I can’t boss you around, so write the story how you would like it to go out. Btw, I think suicide is awful and didn’t mean to offend anyone.

No offense, but I want abi to catch Sophia Being a b;@&)/ and get punished for what she has been putting the protagonist through. Sophia deserves a nice punch to the nether regions. Would you be happy if you went through something like that? Also, there is too many of these stories where the bad guy doesn’t get punished. Sorry, that’s just my opinion.

And yeah I see your point but that's part of it isn't it? This isn't the MCU, by the nature of these stories the villain is normally going to get away with it in some way or another.
Maybe stick to gentle themed stories, just a thought?

This is glorious. A tad long on the build-up, but that's okay. I didn't expect the puppy to be out of the bag before he would shrink, tbh. Fired-up for what's next, although that's bound to be a son of a bitch to write, plotwise. Somehow, I feel like they may have misdiagnosed him at the hospital.

This story is so great, especially the realism. I almost wish he doesn't shrink too soon, I'm loving the interaction with Abi and humiliation from Sofia. Hopefully you give it a few more chapters of the interaction.
I wonder if after he shrinks if Sofia will slowly convince Abi to treat him as a bug as well.
In any case, really looking forward to what happens next!

What I would do in this situation; Get a small spy camera (like one of those pen ones), Hide it, record what is happening, then show it to my Guardian. In any other situation, I would allow this to happen (Would love a challenge trying to avoid them) but after reading what happened to her brother, I would not want her to be friends with someone like sofia.

The challenge would be getting hold of the camera without leaving the house. Remember, he could shrink at any point, can he risk a trip to the mall or a delivery of recording equipment arriving while Sofia is in?
