Just loved it! Another good story of yours! Can't wait to read the others!

And I believed that Amelia was somehow in love with the guy she bullied so much. In the end, she was just bullying him anyways. He was eaten in her sandwich, why isn't him grateful!?

I think Amelia is in love with our main character, that's why she gives him so much attention and ultimately decided she cannot live away from him and decides to swallow.

I also think our main character is in love with Amelia, he is simply mesmerized by her. When Amelia clearly gave him the chance to walk away, he stayed instead of running for the hills.

I must say that I liked the sort of mysterious part where the protagonist shrunk but Amelia didn't directly acknowledge it but let it  fully sink in.

There's a thin line between love and hate, and if thinking they still love each other enhances the story for you I won't try to push a different narrative :)

 

I find it's a lot more fun to have people treat him like he's tiny instead of talk about him getting smaller.  Don't forget the other two girls he ran into who also didn't care, or everyone in the hall who ignored him.
