The story is very well written I think.

I must admit that these officers look like the first people that actually have no choice but to walk right into Fulda's trap, they had to to do their job, a pity for them and a win for us / some sorority sisters.

But killing cops will bring the motherload of cops, but I think Fulda and Li have enough intellectual power to convince the mayor to let the police look the other way.

It may have been their jobs, but the girls have too much to risk letting them get back.  Maybe the next group will be larger and better prepared.  Though with all the money their families have they may get police to drop the investigation entirely.
