Ah, how great was that! I like how Les is being tugged every which way in her relationships with Ky, Paisley and Jakob; it's like all the regular problems associated with growing up are magnified and distorted by this Elite thing.

That last section with Les and Ky was incredibly sweet. Ky is quite a roll-with-the-punches kind of girl. She already gets my vote for Prime.

Man, I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Ah! Another chapter of "The Adventures of Ky and her Dumb Tree-Sister!" I'm actually rather interested in hearing more about the interpersonal relationships of humans and tree-people. This whole vassal scam that hasn't been fully explained. 

Also Les......get it together! You're a tree god now! You're not only bringing in the main source of income now, but I'm pretty sure you could uppercut your mom into the stratosphere and in a week you'll literally be looking down on her. Use your plant biology to grow a set. If Ky were elite your mom would've already quit smoking by now. Which isn't good for Ky, if you need motivation!

Hi! I've been reading stories on this site for years, but until now had never bothered to register an account. Tonight I did, so that I could tell you how much I am really enjoying this story you are writing. It is by far one of the best I've ever read on here, and it's got so much promise and potential. Far from the typical GTS story, you are setting up what feels like a vast and expansive world. One that I find myself wanting to know a lot more about.

It's a really intriguing concept. A world ruled over by giant kids, who are physically and mentally superior in every way, yet maintain their innocence of youth. Would the world not be a lot better if it was run by such beings? Yes, most of these Elites seem arrogant by nature, but not in a malevolent way. And yes, this society is a dictatorship, but it seems about as close to a benevolent one as dictatorships can get. The Elites provide peace, stability, and I'm sure all kinds of advancements that are building for us the best world possible. All they require in return is our subservience. Lol. Some could argue that it's a very fair trade. :)

It looks like many here don't like Paisley, but it's a testament to how well she is written. I am liking her character so far. She's the first Elite that we've gotten to meet, and the first whose mindset we're really getting insights on as she develops into full Elite status. She is what I think Les will become in many ways, though I believe that Les will fight and succeed in maintaining much of her adorably sweet nature. On the vassalship, I think that Paisley likely is deceiving Les in some ways on what it will be like for her and Ky, but I think that she did mean what she said about wanting them to be happy as her slaves. I got the feeling that the relationship between an Elite and their vassal is kind of symbiotic, in that both of them will love and care for the other.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying your work, and I really hope that this story gets many, many chapters. I think that it will need many, to really do this world justice. :) Over time, I want to see the Elite societies. I want to see how they treat their vassals. I want to meet the Megas, and then the Titans. The Titans must be freaking huge, if they don't even go into cities with regular humans. Would be too damaging to the infrastructure, I'm guessing. ;) Keep up the great work!

Good for Les! She still needs to work on her self confidence, but...Yes! Good for Jakob too! That had to be even harder to do after Les ascended! Really liked the end of this one. Y'know what I didn't like. You can guess I'll wait......

PAISLEY!! *bleeping* Paisley! Like say whatever you want about Ky! (I guess that's the accepted social structure of this bullshit society) she's a "human" you have such an extreme distaste for. Sure talk about claiming her if you want. I mean Ky would turn you down and lose her rights or her life (because that's fair), but it would be worth in my book! Les on the otherhand? I'm pretty sure she hard countered your mental influence before she was even induced! Step back a little! You have no idea if she'll be a titan or mega or....I don't know (intern?) class elite or not. And masturbating in the bathroom between classes?! I had more respect for you when I thought it was drugs. 

Also Ky's totally sick! I hope she gets better soon, because I know she'd never lie about that!

The relationship with your sister seems to me the best of your story, but even with it to see as an elite to those around him (Although it saddens me that I begin to have some doubt about Ky, if really paisley has guessed it)

In general the two chapters centered on Les are much better than the chapter based on Ky (but being the first and serving to connect the story I do not know if I call it based on Ky) which is a reflection of which is an elite and which does not it's XD
I hope you keep driving paisley well and that Ky improves too! It would be sad to be relegated to someone who lives from dreams that could not be fulfilled. I do not say anything about Les because I seem by far the best character in history! :)

PS: Since nobody answered in my story to the other style of dialogues they liked more or less (not with reviews but if I notice a higher rate of readings from the first to the next) and you were so kind to read them, you think What do I see as I write?

Thanks, SirDarkvid! I'm glad you enjoy Les as a character. I too usually prefer her pov, though Ky has her own admirable qualities.

Okay, good news I hate Ky a little less. A lot. I think is because she is being kind to Les, taking the side that they both will have their advantages and that they are going to be different, but each one strong in their own sense. Only think I dont really like is her still wanting Les to be her vassal instead of cooperating together, but you could say is an emotional crutch Les needs to overcome herself, and that she is so annoyed at Les being the center of attention when she wouldnt have complained if she was, but it may be too much to ask a twelve year old that kind of insight. I hope everything goes well for the two of them

I really love the relationship of these two and don't want them to be apart, but I'm getting scared!!

Good for Les. She deserves to have confidence and YES even feel superior! She is, if not already than soon enough. It may cause some friction but I think as she matures she'll learn control....although...I feel like there are seeds here that will lead Les to some...troublesome potentialities in the future. I'm actually more worried for Kyliegh in that regard. 

And speaking of Ky. She has my vote for prime! Until further notice I've decided to hate Lesser Titan class elites! You're not busting drug rings you're making humans your slaves! For what reason?! They live a fraction of your lifetime and you outclass them in almost every conceivable way! I've had pets but I never wanted them to die when I did! There are some unanswered questions about vassalship that need inspecting with a fine tooth comb! What was I talking about?....Oh yeah! Kyliegh Watts for Earth Prime! It may be a child's naive dream but I think she can do it!

All that being said I just love the characterization in these little conversations. There's just the right amount of tension and affection. Normally someone like Ky would seem like a jerk but I just root for her determination. And Les' insecurity and passivity would seem annoying but it's not. I'm also just really jealous at how fast you people can write. That's not just you. There are quite a few excellent stories that seem to keep updating. I'm being left behind!!

This chapter ... I do not know what to think.
I can see that Ky plans to become Prime and I can see that she worries that Les grows slower than her, in turn I see that Les begins to feel that innate superiority of the elite but combines with those feelings of love for her sister, the time that each time is filtering more to her, symptom of her growth as Elite.
Today you've caught me completely XD I have no idea where the next chapter will go and I love that a lot.
In reference to my question yesterday I understood that if an elite makes you their vassal you will be until the death of the elite, implying that the vassal would lengthen his long life to continue serving the Elite.
Now with this latest information the truth worries me much more that Ky is not elite, and therefore die long before Les and how it would take ...
Look how much you make me worry about two fictional sisters so much!
(It's a clear joke XD but that now worries me)

Yes, assuming natural causes, Ky would die long before Les. But they're both still young, and at that age, death often isn't a concern. They both have long lives ahead of them.
