This was incredibly well written! You captured the characters excellently and I'd love to see more stories from you set in the Overwatch universe (Sombra or D.Va maybe, but you've already done my favourite gal)
Author's Response:
Thank you!
If I write any more Overwatch stuff it will probably be a continuation of Angela and Duncan's story, but other characters could make appearances.

It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Very nice story; but also kind of freaky as I have one not quite the same but with a few similarities so close I'm hesitant to post it someday. If I ever do, I'll let you know so you may compare.
I like the ending and how Duncan came to accept Angela shrunk and saved him, and now held him in the palm of her hand.
Author's Response:
Thanks! I don't think it's too surprising that we came up with similar stories. If your goal is to write a vore story featuring Mercy as a pred and have it be in-character then the scenario I came up with is kind of a no-brainer. Even without the vore, linking the shrinking with some kind of healing is the perfect way to set up giantess fetish shenanigans.
As to the ending, I'm a sucker for happy endings and gentle giantesses comforting scared or distressed tinies, so I don't think I could write it any other way.

I love how perfectly in character everyone is. You did such a fantastic job with nailing the characters and providing such great imagery! If you plan on doing any more Overwatch stuff in the future (with at least some great breast held content like in this one) I'm very much looking forward to it!
Author's Response:
I'm very glad to hear you liked my interpretations of the characters. When I was writing this one of the things I was worried about (and subsequently spend a lot of effort on) was making the characters and the setting as accurate to the source material as possible. A lot of fanfiction has the characters act whichever way is convenient for fetish purposes (often horribly out of character) and Overwatch fanfiction specifically is often set "in-game" instead of in the world that the background lore describes. I knew I didn't want my story to be like that and so I really tried to get everything right. Avoiding the latter problem required a bit of imagination, but coming up with my own near-future technobabble to fill in gaps in the source material was actually pretty fun.
I do have some ideas on how to continue this story, but it will probably be a while before I get to it because I'd like to continue some of my other projects first.

well done, that was a great read. Are you into the unaware giantess or feet genre at all? I'm sure theres potential there for other overwatch characters.
Author's Response:
Thank you. Unfortunately I'm more of a vore guy, but if I ever get around to continuing this, the scenario I have in mind will be more than just vore.

Very well written short story! I liked the absorption, transfer of consciousness, and other concepts you embedded. Plus I enjoyed your style of writing, no frills, move from event to event without excess exposition.
Now I've gotta go check out your other stories!
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm a fan of your work (Fyth Farmhand is one of my favorite gentle stories of all time) so it's pretty incredible to hear praise from you.
Absorption/sentient fat is probably my favorite way to write non-fatal vore scenarios. I like how intimate it is, and how it allows for teasing and weight gain and other post-vore things.
I usually try to keep exposition and summarizing to a minimum and focus on setting up distinct scenes to move the story forward. It's not always easy, though, so it's nice to know it's appreciated.
If you have the time, I'd love to hear what you think about my other stories. I think you might like "First Day" and "Virtue" a lot.

Love it. I'm a sucker for gentle absorption / caretaking stories. <3 Very well done.
Author's Response:
Glad you liked it! Absorption alongside vore is pretty rare in giantess stories, so I try to write it myself when I see a good opportunity.
