Well, this made me load up Size Matters again so if the intention was to evoke the game you very much succeeded. I must say, I haven't been following your stuff for all that long but you're quite an evocative writer. You borrowed a bit from the original source material but you took it in a rather fun direction the game did not so was well worth it.
Also you forgot the most important part.

Thank you very much, I did want more people to play and support the game, but this is also just a little route I thought would have been fun to see in the game as well. I intentionally wanted the dialogue in the shop to be the same, and thus played through that scene to get the conversation.
Also, I strive for powerful imagery in my stories, so thank you as well for such high praise. But you are right, I did forget and shall fix it now.
