I'd disagree with the second bit, I think it's more of a faciscination of unfamiliar creatures combined in a form that we know (the human like body). I've never fully grasped why it's a thing, you could just easily chalk it up to fetishes which is a facisination for something typically considered strange. It's something strange and honestly I've never really been able to deduce it either. Also, I've personally never gotten sexual thrill from the thought of say a cat or a dog. Once more I'll cite my theory that it has to deal with what we know being combined with what we don't know, or more likely; It looks human and therefore is sexy. (In my case looking female)
