I really like this story, but I'm a little confused on one matter. You mention that Eli thinks Ally looks like their mom, is the mom also Asian and does that mean they are all adopted or....? Because I am just a bit confused.

Great question. He was actually referring to Mrs. Agee, the school nurse ('same light blue uniform'). His mom is also a nurse. :)

Wow, this chapter was a little creepy for me, with Eli forgetting his age. It's a concept I hadn't even thought about before; man, the realism in the story is incredible. I do hope Eli comes to his senses in the next chapter though, at least before they visit Parker's family. I don't know how I feel about everyone babying him so much, even in his confused state. If anything, I hope meeting Parker's dad teaches him how to be more independent as a premie. Which brings me to a question that's been nagging at me for a while now-- where did the name premie even come from? Does it symbolise shrinking?

Yeh, I think Eli will come to his senses, it's just hard to say when and for how long before the next shrinking episode.
Premoria came first, the name of the largest community in the country for those affected by the shrink gene. The name premie derived from Premoria. Initially, some groups found it offensive, much like the words 'midget' or 'handicapped'. They argued it was too similar to the word preemie, i.e., a premature baby. And indeed, the two words have similar spellings and identical pronunciations. Over time, the label of premie stuck, mostly from lack of any other 'politically correct' word rising to take its place. Some are still offended by it, but most are not.

It seems very plausible that someone would experience something like that. The temporary mental regression that happens, would seem like you were trying to catch up to your reversing growth, ...a backward step in your own personal evolution.
Made me think, about the actual 'realism' of this bizarre situation. One would be quite confused if this was actually happening to them, (aside from the physical shrinking) the mental shock alone would be most devastating...

Yes indeed. Most of us read giantess stories because of the fetish factor. However it's almost equally interesting to consider the possible mental ramifications as literally everything in your world changing. Possibly no two shrunken individuals would adjust the same. It's fascinating to consider.

Awesome story so far! I'm interested in hearing more about Parker's father. Perhaps a family dinner at Mrs. D's house. She seems really crass, so I could only imagine how she'd talk about how their sex life has evolved and the innuendos she'd use. Not to mention the inappropriate or demeaning places she'd store a man who's perhaps only half a foot tall. Depending on how amusing Parker finds Mrs. D treatment of her father, he may realize why Ally was so concerned about him dating Parker.

I really enjoyed this chapter-- it's nice to see Ally and Eli working things out between them, even if it cost Eli his pride. The poor guy though! I've officially become addicted to this story! Parker sounded like a fairly innocent character at first, but now I'm having my doubts after Eli's sister's comments... And I'm sure it'll only get more complicated when Eli confronts her about having a premie dad and cousin (which would be super cool if he got to meet them!). Still, I feel like for now, Parker can be trusted. I just hope Eli notices if she starts acting strangely/possessively around him. All in all an amazing job, I wish I could write as well as you!
Just a quick question on the side: how small do Premies get? Is it 6 inches?

Whoa, Eli's getting himself into some bad places, hanging around after school with the troubled kids. He should have kissed Zoey and rekindled that old flame, ...maybe, she really wanted him to become even smaller, ..rather than wanting a taller boyfriend like Eli first thought?
Parker's going to step into that role if Eli allows her to; she seems to be fascinated with the idea of him becoming smaller. I like the fact that he's brave enough to even venture back into the school and attempt to continue his normal routine. This is starting to become interesting now, ...nice character development.
I can't wait for Eli to get down below a foot tall, ...this is going to be a good one, I can feel it already! ;`)

Interesting thoughts on Zoey. At least she signed up to help watch him at school, so we'll probably get to see more of her intentions. As for a foot tall, that may thake a little time, but it's getting there. I'll try to make it worth the wait. :)

Man, if I were Eli I would be most humiliated. Measuring him so casually, and constantly reminding him that he is soon to become so tiny, he'll be totally dependent upon his family to take care of him. And, the idea of filming him, (Slowly shrinking) and putting it on social media, has to be 'completely' dehumanizing too!
I'd like to see someone leave a 'review/request' - asking for something a bit more intimidating, ...like, forcing him to climb up winters bikini-clad body, (Only when he's down to about six inches tall) Using a thin piece of string for a rope, she could tie it off around her head like a headband and let hang all the way down to her bare feet. Eli could start off climbing up onto her foot, and then begin his ascent up mount Winter!
