Very good chapter again because of the very realistic characters. You really feel for the family too. They see he is suffering and they can do little about it to take it away. The people around him in this story are very supportive and understanding, that gives a realistic feel to it.
There seems to be hope. If Eli has a purpose in the giant world and has a good caretakers so that he can easely move in that world almost whenever he wants, he might find some happiness.

Yeh, I'm trying to keep it realistic. There's plenty of crush/vore/sexualize/enslave content out there, and sure, some of that stuff MAY happen if real life if someone shrunk, but it's just as conceivable (if not moreso) that folks would behave like rational people.
That being said, there's still plenty of fertile ground for conflict, drama and character evolution.

@SoinaGirl. She is not insane. She is acting like you would expect somebody her age to react. She doensn't really grasp the concept yet of what things are taken away from her brother. In a few years she probably will.
The strong point is the realistic characters of the stories and detailed feeling at each shrinking stage and the fear of losing so much. Even in this most friendly and understanding environment he is in, this still hurts mentally. He will probably get over it. Losing friends in this process and basically the freedom to move around in this world seems a weird thing. I try to imagine it.
A very interesting adventure. Glad I found this one, because it is easy to overlook good stories, because of the many brainless trash stories here.

Excellent points, Barrowman. In fact, it's often difficult for adults to 'grasp the concept' or truly walk in another's shoes. Individuals (including many adults) can differ vastly in mental and emotional maturity.

Kinda dissapointed we don't get to see more shrinking with Parker. But I can't wait to see her with Eli at this size. Hopefully his sisters didn't do anything to end his relationship with her while he was in dysphoria.

You are doing great. If I was that age, I would completely feel that way too. You point out exactly what is so scary.
That people don't see you as you were anymore. The rotten feeling I would get is that I would release my anger at the family. Not because I hate them, because out of self protection and pride. But at the same time I would feel bad to attack the people who want to take care of me. If I was in his shoes, I want to see as little as possible of my family, friends and only interact in person with Parker. So many things are taken away from you. My privacy is the most important thing to me and to have 3 overpowering/overbearing familiy members is too much. Freedom is so important to me.
