I absolutely love the idea behind this story! It has that realistic feel that most micro stories miss, and you've described Eli's mental approach to the shrinking gene so well! Great work, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Random! I prefer realism, even if that means making it less of a 'story'.

I like the idea of the -s l o w- shrinking effect.  I also like the 'text messaging' in the opening part. Lol! (Shaving his pubs) Ha!  I love it, ...sounds like some of the trash talk my H.S. bud's used to talk. Also, the underlying fear that Eli feels is projected very well. And, Simultaneously, ...the way that his sister, or (step-sister) finds it thrillingly arousing that he'll become so small that she could actually pick him up, inside her hands, and play with him however she wishes...

can't wait for the next chapter...

Author's Response:

Thanks, midnight! There are 4 chapters total at the moment (you described chapter 2 so wasn't sure if you noticed). I'll occassionally post multiple chapters at once, depending on length, story continuity, etc.

I
LOVE
THIS!!!

Such interesting dynamics. I love that there are a ton of potential fun, embarrassing situations without introducing a sociopath character.

Winter is great. She seems to just want her siblings to give her attention.

Author's Response:

Thanks, realIRS. Your writing has been an insipiration, reminding me of how much fun it can be to read/write PG-rated material. I look forward to your next work and congratulate you on publishing Erica's House!

I think the PG rating is apt given the age of the characters and also allow you to explore the interactions between the siblings more. Great to see you back with another story!

Author's Response:

Exactly. Exploring those interactions in a 'realistic' way is probably my favorite aspect of writing this story. Thanks for the review, Nostory.

Interesting so far. I'd like to see more, what categories are going to be featured in this story if any at all? Given the PG rating, I'd guess feet and possibly mouth play? It really does seem like a great start to a slow shrink story. Keep up the great work, Spooky.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Defiad. I do have several platonically fun situations in mind. :)

Alright!  I like this setup, Spooky.  It's nicely done, as usual.  I'll bet that you were thinking about that 'Downsized' motion picture, coming up, (2017) with Reese Witherspoon and Matt Damon?  The movie is supposed to have an area where people are shrunk down and they can live so much cheaper, and everything's all guarded and well prepared and cared for, it's a comedy but, sounds like it might be worth checking out...

Glad to see you back, Dude!  ;`)

Author's Response:

Thanks for the first review, midnight!

Can't wait to see Downsized. Sounds amazing. As for the community of shrunken people, I may have subconsciously borrowed a bit from that movie, but it's a fairly common trope in the giantess genre. Erica's House, Titan, and Omega series are a few examples that come to mind. Depending on how many people it needs to support, and how long the community has existed, I think it could be more expensive than normal-sized living. Especially when you consider construction of buildings to scale, infrastructure, medicine, visitation, commerce, education and, most important, protection (from humans, bugs, animals, etc).
