Hmmmm! I wonder if Cady and Deacon are going to engage in some experimental (yet mutually consensual) carnality? If so, will that presage something similar for Ollie and Larissa?
Find out the five-star answers to these and other intriguing questions in chapter 109!

I don't see Larissa as the horny type. I think she might act flirty which will confuse the heck out of Stan, and Oliver will get nervous about anything that Larissa does.
Deacon will slowly talk about his fantasies and Cady will find it silly. That's my bet. I think she will do what Deacon wants, but won't force him to do anything which makes Deacon uncomfortable.
I love how Oliver is paranoid about everything, and Stan is enjoying his chances of spending time with younger women. Quite the funny dynamic.
I love the progression of the story and I can't wait for the next chapter!

Well, I'm happy that my last theory was proven to be incorrect. Hmmm, I wonder what Deacon has on his mind... kind of presumptuous given that thus far, he's only kissed Cady once. I wonder how that conversation will go... I'm also curious to see how Larissa defines "watch over". Might that translate to "stuff into my panties"?

I may be completely wrong here but I have a theory. I think our heroes (and the readers) have been played by that sneaky Duggernaut guy. I think Sabina and Grandma Crawford intentionally left that Weeping Stone on the sofa for Stan to find (and experience its effects). It may be that Cady is not the kind and helpful soul that she appears to be, but rather that she has set up Deacon and Stan and when the moment comes for the boys to be released from the confines of her purse and deposited on some table, the boys will not be at a secret location for their protection, they will be at the Omega house and surrounded by the gleeful, sadistic smiles of Cady, Sabina, Edith, Grandma Crawford, Sersei, Brooklyn and the rest of the Cult. If I’m correct, Stan and Deacon will see firsthand what these witches are capable of. You’re not paranoid if they really are out to get you…
Author's Response:
Entirely within the realm of feasability, an insurance plan in case something goes awry, or Cady trying get back into the good graces of the sisterhood after her mother defected... so many different ways this could go very very wrong.

Btw: who's Kent? The one who replaced Oliver as Deacon's roommate? His first name isn't by "Clark," by any chance, is it?
Author's Response:
Kent was the fourth Omega son targeted by this chapter. Not Clark...

"...a little surprise."
I love it!
"Ah! The power of cheesy puns."
Author's Response:
The power of fromage!

Go for it Deacon!
Love how Oliver and Stan have their own perspectives of this.
Stan is married and Oliver has his own adventures to discuss.
Love where this story is going.
I hope things get better soon. I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response:
Figured you might side with Deacon on this one :)

Hmmmm! So is Stan now the same size as the younger guys? Or merely three feet tall?*
*It's that--I say, I say--it's that cotton-pickin' subtlety o' detail again, what made me miss it, son. Miss it, that is! ;-D
Author's Response:
I say, I say fortunately I keep ma' feathers numbered for just such an occasion

Ah! I had to re-read this chapter a third time to see how he latched on to the thingie. Your subtlety of detail is sometimes _too_ good!

Interesting chapter... we have the bold and assertive Stan reduced to a finger puppet... so sad... Cady is in possession and control of all three of our protagonists (can she be trusted?) and Kent abducted by the Omega surrogates, him soon to be reduced to a human dildo. Speaking of Kent, how the heck did those girls find him? Why didn't he hightail it to safety when the Omegas arrived? BTW, where is Samantha? Only she has the knowledge to help our three heros turn the tables on these beautiful but sadistic creatures. Samantha may be able to direct Cady on the use of the weeping stone to restore at least one of our three to full size. Last thought... you have to love the attitudes of Stan and Deacon after being reduced to inches tall. Of course, they haven't experienced being abused and dehumanized yet...
Author's Response:
Stan is a survivor, finger puppet or no, he's no quitter. Samantha was away harvesting another son elsewhere while her own darling boy was feed to the omega machine. You hit it dead on with the fact neither Stan nor Deacon has been 'used' the way Oliver or Cam was...yet...

Just wondering, are you a fan of westworld? It's the only show where I ever heard the name Maeve before.
Other than that, good chapter. I like the idea of those cops returning. Not sure if it was the same cop that pulled Stan over.
Speaking of Stan, he seems to be the only one with expertise here. He even predicted that Sersei may have memorized the license plate.
Well. Stan is small now. How big is the rock? Bigger than them? Cady could begin a bowling session with the guys as pins.
I'm still waiting on the return for Vesper. Or Brooklyn. If the story slows down a bit in the future, I would love to see either of these women have their way with someone.
I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response:
I saw it on a reerun of the adventures of Sinbad some years back, but yes, have enjoyed Westword, the first season anyway.

@Sm: But, thus far, only the venerable-in-age leaders of the cult seem able to shrink guys just by telepathically linking up with it! All the younger weeyotches seem to require physical contact with it to make use of that mass-to-energy factor. Which raises the question...
Where on her naked personage was Sersei wearing her stone? ;-)
Author's Response:
After taking Deacon, Sabina enjoyed a swoon and subsequently left her weeping stone unattended, which Stan pocketed after handling it...
Date: July 29 2018 4:45 PM Title: Stand Offish
CC.... I'm pretty sure from prior chapters, it was the weeping stone that was the catalyst that converted the victim's mass to energy and then absorbed that life energy. We also have Stan's account of the sensations of holding the stone. I think it's a good bet that the weeping stone is behind Stan's change in size.
Btw Has anyone else noticed the increase in the number of stories that involve college girls and sororities? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
Author's Response:
Correct about the stone. Who doesn't love college girls?
Date: July 28 2018 2:53 PM Title: Stand Offish
Uh-oh! It looks like just their odorless pheromones can shrink males they haven't had carnal intimacy with.
Author's Response:
Stan handled the 'forgotten' weeping stone...
Date: July 27 2018 2:16 PM Title: Stand Offish
Stan should know not to pick up strange rocks in the home of omegas. The question would seem to be will he put two and two together and get the stone out of his pocket and if he does will he continue to shrink down to Oliver's size. Sounds like Stan got the short end of this deal...
Author's Response:
Or should we say he got a LITTLE flustered in the heat of the moment...
Date: July 26 2018 8:58 PM Title: Stand Offish
This chapter was just weird!
Stan enters and all the doors are unlocked! The on to the main house and also the door to Sersei's room. It seemed like someone wanted Stan to enter.
Then there is the glowing rock which could explain the shrinking, but it's still a mystery. He was able to hold and it felt hot and cold at the same time. The tingling reminded me of when Mrs Frost touched him. (Or was it a different lady.)
Then Stan was able to threaten Sersei with a knife! I never seen a Omega girl cower down to someone not from the sorority before. Also, Sersei easily gave them up. I thought she would have some spell underway.
Then Stan was able to escape? I am surprised. He might the only one to enter the house and escape. The Omega Pi house is one of those places that your friends tell you that "if you enter, you will never come back out".
If Stan shrinks, then Cady will have 3 little guys all to herself. Interesting. Also, I bet storytime will be fantastic once they find a safe place. I can't wait for Oliver to reveal his tales and adventures. You know Deacon will be excited.
Haha! Then Sersei was upset and got a hold of the license plate. But Stan is smart. He will probably find a new ride.
The good news is that since Sersei has the number of the license plate, maybe we will see that sexy cop back again!
I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response:
Weird can be good...sometimes...

Okay, this is not because I don’t like Sersei...though, I don’t like Sersei a lot...a lot...but I don’t think that Deacon is truly that enamored with ol’ weasel snax.
First, he’s got a nice thing going with Caddy. To all of a sudden decide that the sweet, smart girl he’s been sharing an adventure with can just be brushed off to the side in favor of the blonde kidnaper of a friend he was willing to take risks for to aid...that’s supremely fickle. And does that strike any of you as the real Deacon?
It doesn’t ring true to me.
Remember Thomasin’s comment about “the power of the stone working on him as well as her that made her feel this way?” What we’re seeing is the effect of the weeping stone on a normal person and not a selected son. Remember how Oliver just couldn’t follow a single clue or even stay suspicious when Cam went missing? It’s the stone guiding him and all the other victims to their doom. With a regular person, it becomes a sort of “love spell” that works in way more subtle ways on a son.
Ah, but I hear you saying “Sabina didn’t use a stone to harvest Deacon.” Well, she wasn’t holding one when she did. But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t channeling the power of the stone to perform her vicious miracle.
Perhaps that’s how Edith does it too. Summoning the power as long as she has the keeping of a stone. Perhaps all their powers are defined aspects of a stone’s power.
Gee Duggernaut, thanks for making the mystery even more unbearable. Keep up the awesome work.
And since I can’t resist a good romance...Sersei stinx...Deacon and Caddy 4 ever...
Peace

Deacon's awe and amazement is understandable, especially in Sersei's naked presence. He actually seems to be enjoying himself but does not yet grasp his rung on the totem pole. Deacon does not understand that he is no longer a person, only a toy to be used. Nor does he realize the permanence of his circumstances and that there is no going back and he probably has a very short amount of time to live. When he has been battered and bruised by Sersei and the others, he will better understand his place and his outlook will be different. So, go ahead Deacon, dive in and enjoy the rest of your brief existence. I'm greatly looking forward the confrontation between Stan and Sersei and of course, the ramifications that will follow. Great stuff!!
