Hrrrmmm.  Nope.  Not buying it.

All Harmony is doing is lying to herself.  "Gosh, you have a consience because you feel bad.  Now you can masterbate to your bad feelings and still be a good person."

She's managing to simulate being the token "not as evil creature" at the party.  That isn't much of a thing to pin your hopes to.

I refuse to put one ounce of faith into any one of these campus critters.  Any one who wants to can waste their hopes on this little "go along girl" but when push comes to shove,  there ain't much there.

Okay, maybe there's a glimmer there.  But I aint bettin' on it. And dammit, someone has to say, so I can be right when she lets us down.

Have I mentioned a certain disdain for anyone in that miserable group?

Truth be told, a really great read.  Thanks Duggernaut, you are a way better author than we deserve.

Peace,

PixL8Ed

Ok, so the life energy makes the guys shrink and the women horny. I like it.

Also, this energy makes each girl remember the tiny guy constantly so the guys are like drugs to these girls. The girls really, really want their tiny guys.

I'm not sure how the shower acted like a catalyst to making Harmony orgasm and get wet all of a sudden. Must be the magic.

Well, I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Not only does the stolen life force enervate our group of lovilies, it makes them very very, how do i say this nicely, as randy as a rabbit in heat. :)

I would say that Harmony's moral compass is (for the moment, anyway) pointing more straightly than her mother's.

So it would seem, though I do sense there is some degree of conflict in her young mind, or a failing of the flesh

What is this?  Harmony's mother is a complete failure.  She raised a daughter with a moral compass!  Harmony loves her brother and actually feels guilt for what was done to Oliver.  Will Harmony find Oliver and help him? Could she turn to someone outside the Omegas? Stan maybe? He will be paying the sisters a visit in the coming days...

I think we are just beginning to see the horrors and depravity that the sisters are capable of.  One possible scenario I envision:  After Oliver does not return, Deacon sends his movie quote text message to Oliver’s phone.  The sister with Oliver’s phone doesn’t know what to do or how to respond.  Out of the need to protect the sister’s terrible secrets, Vesper or Edith demand to know how to respond to the message.  Oliver refuses to help them and who knows what these sick bitches will resort to get what they want? Torture, starvation, the removal of limbs?  Who knows?

Great work as always... More please

Author's Response:

Is there a chance Oliver might find an ally? How would he know? As for Vesper or Edith, they have to catch him first...

I had recently reread "Vesper's office" to refresh my memory about what Oliver discovered.  In his search, he found the box for making impressions of keys and now we know for other things.  He also discovered dozens of molds of tiny men.  I wonder if Oliver had opened the impression that had recently been made would he have recognized Cam's features? Would that have changed his approach? One thing Oliver did not discover was the wax replicas themselves.  Might each Omega that gives a wrist band to a young man get a keepsake after their victim has permanently left this world? A now life-sized wax reminder of his life or what became of it, or would that honor be bestowed only upon Vesper or someone higher in the organization?

Author's Response:

They are definitely keeping effigies of all their conquests. Trophies? Or, something else...

Fumble in the dark ya buncha cows!  Fall down the stairs while your at it!

Wait, so Harmony sat out the first two?  I didn't get that.  Okay, missed the first one, but why did she not partake in Bear's?  Gotta pay better attention.

Still have zero faith in the feckless little waif.   Screw her and her go-alongness.

It is so cool being a fan of this story....for people who don't appreciate it... oh well.

Author's Response:

My intent was for no one girl to be present at more than one harvest though I'm not sure off the top of my head if that's true to what I've already written. So in my mind right now this was Harmony's first. Remember we do see alumni attending to partake in the benefits of the harvest so it's not just the girls in the house.

For those that are fans I am humbled and pleased. :)

Gogblo... As TS said... There is alot to appreciate about the story.  For me... It's the depth of detail that the author includes in the story.  The clues left for the readers to unearth.  It's obvious to me that Duggernaut has done his homework. In addition, the author makes you really care about the protagonists.  The reader rises an falls with the victories and failures of the characters.  Conversely, the more we learn about the antogonists the more we detest them in spite of their hotness...

Author's Response:

Thanks for sharing your point of view. I have found some of.my stories resonate with readers and others don't. I am glad thus one appeals to you!

@Gogblo,

Lots of beautiful girls, likeable protagonists, school setting is fun, college is fun too, which means hot college girls, Omega Pi girls are like models, doesn't it excite you to be in their clutches?

In addition, it's a mystery to the guys in this story. Also, each tiny is being passed on from hot girl to hot girl. Now many people love that.

Short chapters don't matter if they keep coming every week. Also, don't forget the awesome teasing cliffhangers that leave us wanting more.

This story is fresh, seems original to me. Even though there are many school stories, whenever Duggernaut takes a spin with it, be prepared to mindblown.

The relationships between the girls and the boys are cute. Oliver and his roommates get a long nicely and we readers enjoy that. We feel for them as they get captured and sometimes I imagine that I am that shrunken college kid trapped in a sorority house full of sexy ladies.

It's more than just a hot read. There's also a quality story as Oliver tried to discover what is going on. It's fun to see his fails, and also when he learns more clues. Since he is shrunken, it's like a threshold is broken and we can't wait for Oliver to take in everything and work his brain around what happened.

By the ridiculous amount of positive reviews, just check each review on what they like. The larger the review, usually that means they have a lot of good things to say. Recently, a bunch of readers have been debating stuff over this story on the little mystery that Oliver is trying to unravel and it's that suspense of what is going to happen that keeps us on the edge of our seats and keeps us wanting more and clicking the refresh button every day hoping that Duggernaut has updated again.

There are a lot of reasons why I like this story and why others have liked it too. If you don't like it, that's fine, but I hope I was able to portray why we like this story and I hope you at least understand that. Who knows, perhaps in the future, you will like this story too.

Author's Response:

Thanks Tom you have always been a staunch advocate for all my stories and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and feelings in this forum. Some people like my stories others feel I tend to take forever to get to the 'good stuff' but that's the beauty of a site like this as there are thousands of stories out there for people to enjoy. I have absolutely no idea, why this story has such an amount of positive reviews. the chapters are really short, and nothing of interesst ever happened in the plot ...

Author's Response:

I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm sorry if this tale hasn't lived up to your expectations particularly in light of how.many positive reviews it has garnered. As noted by one of those reviewers I generally try to keep my chapters over a 1000 words but update frequently. Again thanks for the input!

You have to love the nonchalant attitude of the sisters after they have robbed another man of his future.  Never to ascend to a successful career or fall in love and marry or see the birth of a child.  All of it robbed from him.  All for a brief moment of bliss and the satisfaction the sisters receive at his humiliation and torture.  Their only concern is that their little toy has eluded them for a short while.  Once they discover his absence, Sersei resorts to acting as if she actually has some kind of personal feelings for Oliver moments after the ultimate betrayal.

So, that’s how the wax replicas are made, a direct cast of the victim before they return to consciousness and realize their fate.  The cast made by the sisters and crafted by Vesper.  Her coldness and callousness towards Oliver is on brutal display.  Oliver was never a person, he was an offering.

Hmmm… now we know that the men are an offering the question is to what? Perhaps the Omegas only have the power to summon the entity during the ritual.  The entity reduces the victim and releases the life energy…both are benefits to the sisters.  Where or what is the quid pro quo?  What does the entity get out of all this?  Something dark and scary I’d guess.

It appears Oliver may have found his way to Harmony’s room.  Based on Harmony’s reaction to the ritual and the subsequent reaping, I still am not convinced she is truly with the Sisters.  There still may be a glimmer of hope for Oliver.  For what, I do not know…

Author's Response:

It would be far too convenient for him to have stumbled into Harmony's right off the top. Next chapter deals more with Harmony and her fallout from the reaping. At Oliver seems to have a little.more fight in him than Cam

Hmmmm! I don't think I remember Monroe from any of the earlier chapters. Nor Acacia. Although, I do have a feeling that's soon going to change, thanks to that unpredictable matchmaker...Sarah Ann Dippity.*

*English translation: what could be the chances that Little Oliver just "happened" to pick Harmony's room to hide out in?

Author's Response:

Monroe has had a couple of walkons but Acacia is new. There are just too many of them... Too easy for door number one to be Harmony's just saying.

As much as I would love to see Sersei with Oliver, I can't help but cheer for Oliver's escape. Frost is right, this search for Oliver is quite entertaining and I think it's interesting to see something not go according to plan in this house.

Salt prints????!!! Lol, they must have been super tiny even on Oliver's size, so how does a regular sized person even see that?? If there was some magical powder from Oliver's body, that would make more sense, (or scents) but salt prints? Seems a bit silly.

I don't get what's wrong with Harmony, something's up. I bet she found Oliver. Sneaky little girl.

Duggernaut, I remember in your story, the contract, you had us favor girls who would stop powerful guys that thought they control everything. Now, I feel like the tables have turned. I somewhat want to see this Omega Pi house get outplayed by Oliver. Nothing like rooting for the underdog.

I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

A bit of a stretch I know using dried salt prints but I wanted them to know he was still alive and loose in the house. Seems like forever since the contract but I think pulling for Oliver isn't all that different than pulling for Jack although they are two very different characters. I do think the Omegas are much more ruthless than the girls in the contract though because they are deliberately taking innocents as opposed to picking off bad guys.

Frost is relaxing while Vesper is facilitating everything. She is probably in charge of those group. We don't know all the details.

As for missing sons and stuff, the whole police force has been seduced to do nothing to these girls. They are told to arrest the girl's, but as soon as they see their gorgeous bodies, they call it all off, believing that they are too pretty to be arrested or punished.

Also, Vesper knows how to wrap every powerful person against them around her finger, so the Omegas have nothin to worry about.

They can have fun without consequences. Amazing who controls the power in this story.

Sorry Shrinkmeister, I never meant to misrepresent your theory.   Though, it could be the way I said it, don't have enough information yet and nothing has directly contradicted it yet.  But yeah, pagan entity, love that.

The idea that their victims essense/souls are being consumed makes them even darker.  I mean, not to impose a judeo/christian perspective (most cosmologies have a "soul" concept) but the idea that they not just steal all the value from their lives (litterally taking their lives, enough so I feel comfortable describing them in terms saved for murderers) and more than likely directly contributing to greatly shortining (No Pun) them, but also leaving them no (or a lesser ) afterlife, makes the 'Megs about the worst things ever to stalk around SM fiction, ever.

And yeah! It is awesome being a fan of this story.  It's kind of our own little Trekkie thing.  With speculation and revelations and just a lot of fun.  Sometime I just want to post (pretend I'm using all caps) dammit Duggernaut, just tell me what happens!  But I really hope he doesn't...hehe.

Peace y'all,

Pix... Just be clear, I was stating that I believe Vesper is the top dog at the local chapter, not for the organization as a whole.  Your theory is an awesome concept! We know old Edith is number 2 (pun intended!) so who would number 1 be?  Could it be number 1 is some sort of evil pagan entity that grants Vesper and the others the power to transform these men through the ritual?  Kind of reminiscent of the old Friday the 13th TV show where power was granted to the user of a cursed object in return for the soul of an innocent.  In the case of the Omegas, the benefit obtained is the life energy which grants the participants virtual immortality and other benefits and of course what is left of the victims as playthings.  In return, the entity receives the worship of the Omegas and perhaps the soul of the victims when they are killed.  Wow, this is indeed getting complicated.  On a side note, I just want to say how much I enjoy the banter between the fellow members here and of course, Duggernaut’s amazing work.  I find myself checking the site often looking for updates.  I am hooked!

Okay, guys, I just need to make things more complicated here for a moment.  With a secret society like this, there’s power structure and then there’s “power structure.”  What I’m saying is both theories could be correct.  However the hierarchy is formally structured, it could be very different in how it works.   Picture Frost as an eternal feature of the group, sometimes she’s no.1, sometimes no.2, or 3, etc....she lets other members get more experience at the “day to day” in the upper levels of power, (and to give her a break from all the paperwork) but she’s always going to be deferred to.   So Vesper could be the no.1 in the organization (she’s probably pissey enough) and Frost no 2  (I don’t gotta say it, do I?)  But what Frost says goes.
Personally I would favor the theory that we haven’t met no 1 yet.  She might be something really dark and inhuman (cause, you know, we ain’t seen none of that) or even a real not human thing.  Like a Platonic evil that the ‘Megs are just reflections of.
If the first theory is correct, then maybe Frost is the only original member remaining.   Maybe the others just faded out, or maybe Frost is the “last witch standing”  after a long power struggle.  That would’ve been something to see.

Another thought that occurred to me regarding the logistics of keeping the Omegas supplied with ample quantities of young college men to consume.  The first aspect involves the source of these men.  For obvious reasons the parent(s) of these men must volunteer their sons (and daughters?) willingly.  A parent not involved in the conspiracy would get the police involved, file missing persons reports and generally make life difficult for the Omegas.  It is possible that the child bearing years for these mothers is extended with the help of the “reaping” and consumption of life energy when they continue to attend the rituals?  We know that Edith Frost was a founding member of the Omegas and that was in 1888. This would make the lovely Edith close to 150 years old.  The additional lifespan these women would have would potentially translate into far more children to donate to the cause.

Even if a willing mother produces children, the children must have a desire to attend college and possess grades worthy of university admissions.  I envision a system where sisters continually are involved and nurturing the development of the children to ensure university enrollment.  I would further theorize that there are sisters situated throughout the university admissions departments to guarantee acceptance to the school and a ready supply of fresh meat for the grinder.  If supplies became thin for some reason I suppose other sources could be found with the help of the roofie juice.  after all, people disappear all the time.

It might be interesting to see a flash back chapter where a very young Oliver or Cam recalls the visits of mysterious women who come to check his progress and remind how important it is to attend the university.  It might even be suggested that the university his mother attended would be a wonderful choice.  Maybe touch on the insiders at the university who discuss processing the applicants through the system… Maybe…
