Nice chapter! I enjoyed the at,osphere change, this one was so much lighter and full of teasing than the other, it was nice!
Keep up the awesome work!
Author's Response: Thanks, Dante! It was certainly fun to write. thank you so much for reading! :)

These two are adorable. The playful banter, cat and mouse games, and Godzilla/Jack and the Beanstalk references were all quite hot and very amusing. And I like that Darcy can't seem to master high heels.
Author's Response: Lol. A lot of girls I know hate high heels for that exact reason. I had a lot of fun writing this one- all the references I hope we're not too cheesy, but I really like how it turned out. Thank you so much for reviewing! :)

You know who these two remind me of? Rixie and Alex from the Titan series. Their playful banter to even how their relationship sort of sparked reminds me so much of them. I'm also sure that Rix might be a little taller than Darcy if she was Hunan though.
Author's Response: You know, I've never read that series. I'm definitely gonna have to give it at least a once over. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed it! :)

To paraphrase Mark Twain: "Let us humbly draw the curtain of privacy across the rest of this scene."
Nicely poignant, btw. :-)
Author's Response: Lol nope, you guys stuck this out with me, and so were gonna see some T, A, and P. :) thanks for reading!

Japanese for Gozilla? Good work in using a non-English title for this! I feel like the first paragraph would fit into one of my ongoing stories....
Author's Response: Lol, while it is Japanese, it actually translates to "da-shi-jira-" Darcyzilla! I was kind of worried gtsworld would allow for katakana characters on the website, lol and behold, it does. Which story do you think the opening paragraph could fit into? Thanks for reading! :)

I've only read two chapters of this so far, but I'm really enjoying my read. Darcy and Andrew both seem so realistic and I'm curious to see where this one goes. I will definitely be getting all caught up.
Author's Response:
Well, thank you very much! Im glad to hear that you are enjoying it. Although it's six chapters in, the action is far from over. I hope that Darcy and Andrew continue to please. Thank you for reading!

Beautiful chapter! Once again, the damn emotions are perfect! I love it!
I feel like there should be some twist to him staying with her. As a result of him already signing the papers, I feel like he would have to jump through a few hoops before being able to stay, as a precautionary measure against people taking advantage of the littles. I guess we will find out later, though!
I can't wait for the next chapter, keep up the amazing work!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and for the very kind words and support! As far as the legality of annulling the release form...ccontracts are tricky business- but, since Andrew is a contract lawyer, I am sure he can find a clause or exception to exploit. :) thank you so very much for reading! I truly hope you keep enjoying what will be posted later on! :)

Well, we've already established that it's not the county seat of Lexington County, SC. So, I'm thinking a slightly more rural region of same.
P.S.---I love the way she finally fessed up to him how she truly felt. Great job of depicting that!
Author's Response: Lol nope. Keep on atryin and email me when you think you got it! Also, thank you for the compliment- I am partial to the way she reciprocated her love for Andrew as well. Those confession paragraphs went through a lot of revision. Thank you for reading!

YAY, Darcy+ Andrew forever!
Author's Response:
who knows? things might change. but I'm hopeful for these two crazies.

The story has come along well, I can't wait for the next chapter! Keep up the good work!
Author's Response:
Well thank you very much for reading! I really appreciate the support. I'm planning on having the next chapter out around Thursday or Friday. Thank you!

This is really sweet! I can't wait to see how Darcy's plan unfolds!
Author's Response: I think you'll like it :) thank you so much for reading! :)

@Cary, I wasn't unaware of that little um...euphemism? That's something new for me!
Author's Response:
Cary is a wealth of information.

@Nostory: "Cutting of the cheese" is how we, of the 1960's referred to f**ting. Which is what I thought Darcy had tricked her little boyfriend into saying.
Author's Response:
You are correct! :)

@Cary, I actually thought it was something to do with yoghurt or cheese.
Author's Response:
Cheese :)

But, I will guess that the setting of this story is Lexington, SC.
Author's Response: Nope! But good guess. The clues provided will be in the actual text of the story, not in the head or footliners. For example, the way a character talks, a phrase used by a character may indicate a given location, or a shirt someone is wearing may provide a clue. The actual location of the city will be revealed in the epilogue, but I want to make it fun and have people do some detective work an stretch their brains. Also, if you do figure it out, private message me instead of putting in the comments- that way, people have to figure it out themselves. Also, when you send it, tel me WHY you think it's that location.
Stretch yallses brains!

P.S.---evidently, that Youtube video no longer exists.
Author's Response: Unfortunate. Anyhow, look up 'old time religion' (Moses hogan arrangement) on YouTube. I think the Mormon tabernacle choir has a pretty good rendition of it. That's the hymn Darcy is singing/humming.

Nostory was right. The proposed title is simply how the late, great Wm. Buckley would have described the passing of digestive gas. ;-)
Author's Response: Yeah but it's funny!!! :)

I've read about Darcy burning her fajitas so many times XD
Loved this, so much emotion and it feels so real too.
Author's Response: Lol that is true. I've never even learned to make fajitas. I'm glad that people are picking up on the emotional charge that I'm trying to convey. I was worried that it would come off as too sudden or unconvincing. Thank you for reading! All 3 times!

Not a bad volume 1! It makes me wonder if the first chapter of volume 2 will have her buying a toy store replica of a Leafstone condominium?
Author's Response: Lol nope! Though that's a good guess. I think that's what Leafstone has, but who knows. I've given practically no thoughts as to what's there apart from what's on the pamphlet. Thanks for reading, Cary! Really Happy to hear from you!

Good story so far. You write the characters well and very realistically. I like that there are several levels of conflict - Andrew feeling he's a burden, his feelings for her, and Darcy's darker impulses.
Author's Response: Thanks, Pixis! This story I have really stretched myself as a writer, and I really like the results so far. The second half still has some editing, but I really hope that it meets everyone's expectations. Thank you so much for reading and good to hear from you!
