Holy crap, this is based of my story 'Smoothed' that I wrote nearly 20 years ago. My pen name was Atkins back then. I'm shocked and honored that you were inspired by it. I'm a fan of your work as well.

I remember reading that story so long ago and loving it, and loving the shrinking mechanic you came up with. I thought it was so hot that someone could be smoothed to every day objects and still be alive experiencing what the objects were going through. Your story was awesome and I really wanted to make sure to give you credit but I couldn't remember the name of the story or your name.
I still can't believe 20 years on no one else has made a story using the smoothing mechanic. It's amazing.
