I've been a huge fan of this story, so I'm glad you decided to update again! I love the interaction between Gaelin and Anna, it sucks that Andrill is out of the picture, seemingly for good... As for Annallya, I'm a bit worried that she got a thrill out of bullying humans like that.
Sure, it was sort of self defense but at the same time the fact that someone as kind and gentle as her felt that way could mean that Titan's may never see humans as anything but pets and playthings. Maybe being bullies of things smaller than them is ingrained into the very DNA of these beings? Who knows.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to more!

Great chapter, I think the dynamic between these two is gonna make for some interesting reads but it kinda seems like the story "traded up" so to speak. Andrill was replaced by a similar character that is better in every noticeable way: he's a better fighter, better teacher, has a more interesting backstory etc. Gaelin just seems like Andrill 2.0 if you get me, if he was a cooky pervert, or a drama queen, or some other character type it wouldn't seem like this, but he's the same "brooding hardass with a bad past" character type as Andrill only done better. Maybe we just haven't had enough chapters to distinguish them but so far this is my analysis. It doesn't help that this chapter made Annallya come off as "meh" over the whole Andrill and she got Gaelin to fill the exact same role he did as teacher just one chapter later, further emphasizing the feeling of "trading up" I talked about.

Trust me, I know the pasts of both Andrill and Gaelin, they're not so parallel as you'd think. Same for their personalities. The reason Andrill seems brooding is because he's currently held in a cage against his will. That'd make me pretty brooding, and I'm more of the lovable wise-ass character.

I though Gaelin would have asked to see Andrill. Smart of Ana not to tell him she is the one looking after him , I imagine he would be a lot less inclined to teach if he knew she was the one keeping him as a pet.

Great to see you back, after such a long time away! I love this chapter, its good to see the characters you introduced coming together. I think after this point, it will be a lot of arguing between our heroine and the other Titans and even leading to her visiting an actual human village.

Great to see this come back! Sucks about Andrill, I'm a little disapointed in Annallya, she gave him up far too easily. And her mother would not have found out about all this if she didn't confide in her so called friend who ratted her out! As for the sword training, why wont she just train with Andrill, isn't he good enough? Why risk it with some other man? I guess it's impossible to train with Andrill now, who knows what they're gonna do to him.

Well sword play is something Annallya needs to learn, however what Andrill said Gaelin could help her with is her temper. And yes she did give him up easily, but that's only natural when you look at the woman her mother is. She's strict, commanding, not afraid of smacking her daughter, and has been like this for Annallya's whole life. Annallya's afraid of her. No doubt about it.

Amazing chapter! It was interesting to see Annallya in so much danger like this, that man really was something else! But then again, all the Titans he's ever met most likely were horrible to humans, and to be honest Annallya wasn't exactly a spring peach to him either, so I can't blame him for acting this way.
Even seeing her mannerisms, it's obvious that Annallya sees herself as superior and entitled to human obedience, and this is from what is most likely the most open minded Titan there is! I'm also curious what this "offering" is, I'm guessing it's not food or supplies, it'd be hard for them to be useful to someone much larger like a Titan...
Anyway, great stuff! This is currently my favorite updating story on this site, keep it up!
