Why does he answer everything? He said "I don't want to answer this" a single time. Or is there some world rule. Also if his little sister calls him little brother is that a lie?

This story was a ton of fun, especially with the twist at the end. The premise of how this world works is great and it makes me wish there were more stories about it. I saw your comments about a sequel but those were years ago, so it looks like that's probably not on the table anymore. A real shame, this was fantastic.

Thanks for Answering. I guess i got curious at what kind of relationship Tom and Linda have since we only had two chapters with Linda and Tom together, but i really liked what we did get. Especially in comparison to his relationship with his siblings. Like while Linda has him eat from her feet, she doesn't make eating as difficult as Tom siblings do.
And really looking forward to the Ms.Evans thing!
Author's Response: I appreciate the thought you put into your responses to my stories especially with regard to characterization etc. Definitely helps motivate writing a continuation of this. Linda will definitely have more time with Tom in the sequel.

That being said, while i do hope for some heartwarming mother and son moments, i do hope we see Ms. Evans makes good on her thread and gives Tom the bare bottom treatment.
Partly because it sounds like it would be hot and partly because i wonder how she'll pull it off. Even if teachers are giving a lot of leeway on how they punish shrinkers, being bottomless during class is probably still considered inappropriate and people would still notice if she decided to remain seated during all her classes.
Author's Response:
This is one where I don't exactly feel the need to beat around the bush. I'm sure Ms. Evans made her point clear about repercussions in the sequel, almost to the point of breaking the fourth wall and declaring what's going to happen. And the awkwardness of the situation you're referring to will indeed be addressed as needed.

If you do a sequel to this story, i hope we have more Tom and Linda interactions. Especially since with her it seems he lies because he doesn't want to hurt her feelings and even though she'd prefer he told the truth, i kinda hope she still understands that Tom just doesn't want to see her sad or upset. I mean, being told that her cooking is bad after taking the time to make would still hurt in this world, especially since she knows they are telling the truth.
Honestly, i kinda imagine that Tom's first lie was probably brought upon because he told a truth that made his mother sad. Might explain why she's more lenient on him compared to Alaina, who is said to share their mother's beliefs, but is far more strict and less forgiving than Linda. Linda also seems to have more patience with Tom than her husband/his father, at least going by what little we learned of him.
Plus, imagine that the lying started before he found out he liked being shrunked and punished.
Author's Response:
I almost feel bad that you're clearly investing more pathos in their parental relationship than I was to a certain extent. You're right that Tom actually did want to avoid hurt feelings there, but in part, as with every lie he tells, it just comes out, either as a compulsion or some baser biological need to do so. We may learn in the sequel how Tom's chain of lies was precipitated. Odds are, it wasn't just one event, but we'll see. But you're right that Linda has, by the standards of this world, a great deal of patience with him.
I do definitely intend to do a sequel to this, it's more just a question of either finishing or reaching checkpoints on either ongoing stories first.

I should have taken notes while I was reading, now I'm not sure what I should comment about... hey, nobody mentioned mamabliss in the chapters with the "throne" thing, so I suggest you all go and read "double time" at http://www.maximumgts.com/ and its prequel, "ass time".
There, I wrote something. Awesome story!
Author's Response:
Good to hear from ya. Thanks for reading!

I really love this story! Brilliant pacing and likable character, no different from most of your work. Cant wait for more!
Author's Response: Thanks very much. I do plan to write a sequel to this sooner rather than later.

Enjoying the story. More Ms.Evans.
Later,
Diesel
Author's Response:
She'll appear again in the planned sequel.

Haha, I was waiting for someone to suggest putting Tom inside her. I just wish the entire process would come to life though. Perhaps in another story.
Well, great ending. I can't wait for more stories from you.
Author's Response:
I had to save something special for the final chapter, after all. Thanks for the reviews.

..Huh.
Well if he actually enjoys all of it, then I can't say I can complain either.
If Tom and his friend ever do meet, I wonder if she'll actually care for his wellbeing than ravage him to her heart's content. Doesn't look like it, from what we're seeing here.
An interesting conclusion.

This has been a fantastic story my friend! Can't wait to see the sequel. Please tell me this new character Samantha will show up in the sequel. I happen to have a think for goth chicks ha-ha. Cheers!

Heh! If the world as a whole DID find out, Tom would probably be put in a padded cell. Complete with birdcage for when he lied during psychiatric sessions! Even so, I have to admit: that was a great plot twist at the end, there.
It made me sincerely want a sequel for Xmas. ;-)
Happy Holidays to you and yours..

Well, no, that wasn't my primary meaning. But, even so, Barrowman does bring up a valid point. Is this like the reverse of that parallel-Earth seen in THE INVENTION OF LYING? Everyone but our hero has no problem telling the absolute truth?
Date: December 19 2015 11:23 PM Title: Chapter 1: World's Biggest Liar
I have to agree with Carycomic.
Now it gets very unrealistic. There is no way that the characters around him never lie often or have to admit to their torture when asked by others.
Author's Response:
Well, it didn't really sound to me like that was what Carycomic was saying, but this is just how this world operates, believe in it or not.
Date: December 19 2015 3:16 PM Title: Chapter 20: Emma Toes the Line
Poor Tom! :-(
Call me overly harsh. But, I don't care how much kinder Emma is to him, in comparison to the others, while he's shrunk. Even the least of all evils is still evil!
Author's Response:
I'm not saying the next chapter will totally change your mind about the nature of evil in this world, but we may be seeing that Tom views it differently at least.
Date: December 15 2015 7:27 AM Title: Chapter 19: Dinner-By-The-Foot
Since he mentions Emma plays fair so he doesn't immediately give up, i'm guessing that means there have been times where Tom grew tired of this game and given up?
Author's Response:
With people other than Emma, he's basically learned sometimes it's not worth the energy to fight back. Sometimes it's easier to just ride it out.
Date: December 14 2015 9:06 PM Title: Chapter 19: Dinner-By-The-Foot
Another great chapter but will we see the female liar again by any chance?
Author's Response:
Not in this story, but maybe in a future one.
Date: December 14 2015 8:01 PM Title: Chapter 19: Dinner-By-The-Foot
great job so far! any plans for blake to get his own chapter?
Author's Response:
I'd considered something short for Blake but decided not to since most people probably wouldn't want to read that.
Date: December 14 2015 6:56 PM Title: Chapter 1: World's Biggest Liar
The funny part is, that the environment pretends to hate Tom. But they all like to play or torture him in his shrunken form. What if you took that 'addicted fun' away from them. Their lives would be empty.
Author's Response:
It would definitely hurt a lot of these people if they didn't have liars to play with.
