Ya know, I felt sorry for her when we first saw her, but now I know why Janine was sitting alone. She's really in touch with her inner psycho cunt.
The insertion really works as a metaphor, cuz Tom's really getting to see how ugly she is on the inside.
Tess gave up and left the house a little too easy in my opinion, but what can you do. (besides knife the bitch and check her panties)
Lina is a great character. And it's great to see someone who makes Tom feel good, maybe even enjoy his perdicament.
And Tom...is that responsibility I hear...accepting that he caused his situation. Holy shit...I never would have seen that coming. Now if he could manage to imagine that Tess might be worried and maybe let her know he's still alive...then maybe he start to be less of a little dick.

Okay, in this story I am totally with Tess. The thing about Tess is I don’t really see her as an enabler. I think at this moment, that’s how she sees herself, but that’s not really her motivation. I think she sees here action through the eyes of their consequences. She seems more motivated by sympathy (though she wouldn’t admit it) and as providing a pressure release for Tom, who seems to be a disaster waiting to happen.
She was probably feeling warned about this by his behavior during incest tease scenes. And sees him as having a need to have things “his way” since he has so little control over his situation.
There’s a lot of chapters to go, we’ll see if I’m reading her right.
BTW...his favorite band is Injustice? A band called Injustice? In your stories? HA! Is one of their songs “Little Man Say’s That’s Not Fair?” That is too perfect.
I do like how this chapter deals with real emotional fallout from Tom’s fantasy. Great work.
The grandpa mystery really has me. I gotta know! I gotta know!

Tess will continue to be, for want of a better phrase, the 'tragic' figure in this tale. i realize you're still wrestling with early chapter and much has transpired in teh year plus this story has been unfolding. As for Injustice, it was a fictitious band created for my story Fan Girls, where the band gets shrunk. there will be twists and turns and explorations aplenty yet to come. :)
