Who's she trying to contact? The Size Ranger?*
*Oh, wait! Sorry. He's a Mr. G character.
Author's Response:
*stares blankly at unknown reference*
Uh, sure!

Reads Melody's last line. Seriously, if Kayla were around this wouldn't even be an issue! Although I gotta say, for giant, powerful, near-god beings, the Omega's sure are having a hard time dealing with this aren't they? I get the impression that these newer Omega's haven't really "been on the battlefield" if you know what I mean. They seem so green.
Author's Response:
A lot of the younger Omegas have seen a lot of difficulty, but definitely not a threat of this magnitude, yeah. Normally the Omegas could handle this easily but with the combination of Kayla being gone and too many civilian lives at risk, they're backed into a corner.

bizarre, normally,twins are united !
PS: I also interested in RED. Is An association against anti Omega only?
Author's Response:
RED is a conservative news station. They are very anti Omega.

Dissention in the ranks? Maybe the Omegas have a shot at winning, after all.
Author's Response:
It's a small hope.

Well, Taylor may have caught on. But, I reluctantly have to confess: you've got me stumped.*
*Grumpily waits for author to stop shameless touch-down dance.
Author's Response:
*allows dance to continue indefinitely*

Very Die Hard-y. I like it. I sort of wish that Ben was on his own, but then again, I don't see how he'd be able to take down the Alphas if he was on his own. By the way, aren't Omegas technically the bottom, and Alphas are the top? I may be wrong, just wondering. Great writing as always, Jacksmith.
Author's Response:
Ben would probably be out of luck if he was alone. In their more traditional terminology, yes, Omegas are not higher than Alphas.

@Carycomic. That Abby was a Beta was already explained in a other Omega story. I think al Omegas were Betas.
Author's Response:
You're right that Abby used to be a Beta, though not all Omegas started out as Betas.

I'm looking forward to see What Halle's demands are ! PS: I think that Kayla changed abby from beta to Omega.
Author's Response:
We'll find out in a matter of chapters. And you are correct about Kayla.

Holy Crap! Did I read that right? Abby is an Omega who used to be a Beta?!
Author's Response:
You indeed read that right.

Needs some omega males here and there to pop up, not for big parts but small parts to show that there is some of them around, i refuse to believe that there is no male omegas and that every one is female.
Author's Response:
Well, there are 2 male Omegas already that have appeared in this story. ^_^ Do they not count?

Even if the Omegas can be arrogant and annoying, they are better than every government we have on our earth. I just can't see it from those type of Alpha point of view. Those people are stupid beyond belief. They murder and abuse children, with the excuse that they are 3 or 2 inch tall. It's easy to kill and abuse a beta if you are an Alpha. It takes no skill.
Author's Response:
They're actually not murdering them on the basis that they're so small, but more that Aegis is forcing them to recognize them as equal citizens. Which, after generations upon generations of being able to do whatever they want to Betas and not viewing them as anywhere close to equal, is a hard pill to swallow. It may seem that these Alphas are in over their heads by abusing children like this, but they do have a plan to get out of it.

Kayla off in the cosmos, eh?
All I could think about at that moment was
“In the ether doing, like…”
Good chapter but it just left me with just more questions.
Like…what is the alpha government response to this is or the local government of whatever city they are in? Let Aegis handle everything? Do local enforcement defer to Aegis in all cases involving betas? I mean it would be a great show of unity if the alpha government and Aegis worked to together to stop the biggest domestic terrorist event they’ve probably had in a long time.
To be honest the Omega series is strong on characters and not so much on world building and that’s fine since every Omega story up until now have been really self-contained stories but this story has a lot more going on and we only have a really limited pov. I hope we get to see more of how the Omega world works in this story.
Author's Response:
Aegis is basically in charge of larger-scale criminal justice issues. In this case, where it's essentially terrorism, there isn't much the Alpha authorities would be able to offer. Though certainly there are people of all classes working together within Aegis.
The scope won't broaden significantly from where it is now (I prefer to leave those wider viewpoints to Ackbar to show in his own universe), but we will see more of the inner workings of Aegis in future chapters.

Heh this chapter should be called convenience instead of trust. Taylor had no issue holding a bunch of beta kids ransom so even if she isn't crazy like her ex associates she is still a poor exemplar of a human being. I hope Ben keeps that in mind.
Author's Response:
Don't worry. Ben's just listening to the logic of her words right now; he's by no means buddy-buddy with Taylor at this point.
Date: August 15 2015 4:32 PM Title: Trust
Not a bad chapter! Although, I'm still a little fuzzy on how Taylor was tied up. Fetal position? Kneeling position? Or what?
Author's Response:
She's sort of stretched out. So her ankles are bound, and her arms are tied and attached to some point closer to the ceiling.

I like the one-word chapter titles, and this chapter was nice too!
Author's Response:
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Kind of surprised Taylor is the one pushing to do something, thought she might make the case for both of them escaping. Guess she does have some sense of morals burried deep in there, that or what the others have planned is just that heinous.
Author's Response:
She's got a conscience in there somewhere. But yes, the plan is a very special brand of heinous.
